I updated my greatuncle David Henry Ruhl and his wife Molly "May" Furbee Ruhl and their daughter, Eva. I realize that some of the dates don't jive with the inscriptions, but that has never seemed to be the strong point. My great-grandmother has 5 different dates for her birth with various documents. What I have used are the dates on actual birth documents when I have them. Thanks for the photos and the date of my great-uncle's death. It was about the same time as my grandfather's which might explain why my dad never knew it.

He is already at that site as James Kitchen 1770-1854
You have the wrong dates.
Please remove your James Kitchen, Jr.
Thanks, Carolyn Craig
Thank you for the update!

|Carol Conner Donovan||Conners Again|
Lauren, so sorry but I can't figure out how to edit my comments. The comment listing info on Jimmet Conner, f/o Lizzie Belle Conner has an incomplete birth year. This Jimmet was born 5 SEP 1839, d. 12 NOV 1910, was PVT in 79th OVI, Co A. His wife was Martha Ridge (1839-1913) Both are buried in the IOOF Cemetery of Blanchester, Clinton Co., OH. Carol

Lauren, I forgot to tell you that there are 5 "Jimmets"...it gets somewhat confusing. The name comes from 'Samuel Jemmet', a Welsh tobacco farmer back in MD/DE during the late 1600's. The first Conner I have found, Dennis Conner, married his daughter, Abigail and their first born became Jimmet!
Anyway, there is a grave not too far from one of the Jimmet's (I forget which one) but it is of Lizzie Belle Conner b. JUN 1861, d. 3 SEP 1863. She is the daughter of Jimmet Conner b. 5 SEP 189, d. 12 NOV 1910. This "Jimmet" is the s/o of Jimmet (1805-1881) Guess that's enough of the Jimmets for awhile. Carol

Lauren, you took two photos of two different tombstones for Jimmet Conner and labeled them on findagrave.com as being the same person. This cemetery was also known as Ft. Ancient/Old Bethel Burial Grounds. These tombstones, however, are of two different "Jimmets". One is the father, the other is the son. They are my 2nd & 3rd Great Grandfathers: Jimmet Conner b. 12 NOV 1776, d. 18 APR 1861 and Jimmet Conner (his son) b. 23 FEB 1805 d, 19 NOV 1881. The latter was enlisted in the CW at the age of 56 (17th OVI). He was initially buried at Morrow Cem and then moved to Ft. Ancient. Both of the Jimmet's were born in Murderkill Hundred, Kent Co., DE. The first Jimmet (1776) has his wife buried next to him. Her name is Elizabeth Price-Conner. Her stone is broken in 3 places and they are out of order. She was b. 28 OCT 1775, d. 17 OCT 1848. She was born in Little Creek Hundred, Kent Co., DE. The Conners moved to Bellbrook, Greene Co., OH in 1827. They were members of the Turtlecreek Old School Baptist Church. If you would like more info, pls contact me (I have tons). Thx Carol Conner PS. I am a member of Warren Co. Gene Soc.

Manasota Memorial Park is not friendly to "find-a-grave" photographers and would try to charge me $5 to look up the location of the grave. If you can get the location, I would be happy to take pictures.
