Annie Mulberry grave at Spy Hill, SK
Hi Beverly,

I was pleasantly surprised today to find the iron cross memorial that has been placed at my Great-Great Grandma Annie Mulberry's grave at the Spy Hill Cemetery. It is very nice. Did you have a part in that? If so, thank you!

I have been re-reading the Spy Hill Book again, and putting more and more pieces together; also, filling in my extended ancestors into my family tree. If you remember, my Grandpa's cousin was Edith Rutherford.

All the best for a lovely fall,

Maureen Mulberry Davis

Hi Beverly, Thanks for the message, but, you did leave me a bit confused. I don't want to give out my email address if this is a public message - how may I contact you? We are decedents of Franklin Y. Perrin

RE: Mulberry 's of spy hill
Good Morning Beverly,

Thank you so much for your message. Yes, I do have a copy of the "Spy Hill Story" book that belonged to my father, Lorne Mulberry. I have been working so very hard on genealogy this spring and summer. I have always had a passion for it, and my father asked me, "Will you promise me that you will finish this for me?" I have quite a bit of information on the Mulberry family, and more recently received more from my Uncle (father's brother) in California. I have a name of a man in Ireland who believes that we are related to his line, and I need to work in that direction as well.

However, I am currently working on my husband's genealogy, and we have visited the graves of his great-great-great grandmother Margaret, in Illinois. I have focused on his branch as we have a cousin who is publishing a 700 page book this fall, and we want to make sure we have as many facts included as we can.

Are you in Saskatchewan? My uncles visited the Spy Hill Cemetery years ago and told me that the grave for "Mary Mulberry" is unmarked. I wonder if there are records somewhere in the province.

I thank you again for messaging me.

Yours truly

Maureen Mulberry Davis
