Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am descended on my fathers side from Johnsons (Jansson) of Dalsland Sweden, Ahlbergs and Kristofferssons from Smoland Sweden then to Colorado and Wyoming, on my mothers side from Barretts of Nebraska (Scottsbluff area, O'Neill), and DesJarlais of Canada, Nebraska, South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming.
My father and I spent time in cemeteries looking at the "old timers" while he told tales of the Dubois and Riverton areas from the 20's and on. Now I am interested in my family ties and helping others with theirs.

RE: Your efforts
Thank you for the nice comments. What was the name of this great-uncle? Where was the Lakeshore Engine works? Date of death? Those would be helpful hints.
Hi. I am writing to let you know that I ran across some of your listings while doing some genealogy research for my family. I had several great uncles who spent their lives in the UP. Although the listings that I read were only connected to my family through marriage I found them very interesting and wanted to thank you for the work you have done. I have been seeking all the info I can for my great uncles, one of whom apparently died in the mid-20's at the Lakeshore Engine works. His descendents do not seem to know much about the story. If you have knowledge of any resources that might be out there to check into I would appreciate anything you might know. Thanks.

RE: Isabell Jewell
Thanks for trying to find it. Maybe it is incorrectly listed as being there. I will look into further too. I appreciate your help!
