No, I have not seen a William or Eliza Simms there. I would most likely have photographed it. Evergreen is a huge cemetery. Only one in the greater Cincinnati area that is bigger is Spring Grove.

I did verify with William's death certificate on ancestry.com that he is buried there at Evergreen. Born Oct. 30, 1830 in England; died March 26, 1913 from pneumonia. He worked in a rolling mill. Albert Simms of Newport was the informant. He was widowed at time of death.

You could post a memorial for him on findagrave.com and request a photo. I get over there a few times a year. There are other volunteers who do so also.

I can email you a copy of the death certificate, if you'd like.

Which cemetery are you talking about that has Simms in it? I walk many cemeteries and cannot recall offhand which one I did Simms photos on.
