Working on the Seaney family history for 40 years. I never stop looking for connections.
In 2005 & 2006 I did a report on the Seaney Cemetery in Crawford Co., Illinois. I surveyed, photographed, uncovered buried headstones, repaired broken headstones and discovered unknown graves. A copy of this report is in the genealogy sections of the libraries in Robinson and Flat Rock. I will be putting the entire cemetery on Find A Grave with photos of each grave so you don't have to travel to Crawford County.
If you also need a map of the cemetery I made several versions showing every stone, unmarked graves and family groups. Just contact me for a copy. | |

Thanks David, wish I could find time to make the trip to Robinson
and look at your book. It's been over 15 years since my last visit
and I need to get over and replace records which I gave them with
updated information and corrections. By the way, in case you don't
know, if you find any corrections, or links, that need to be made to
any Seaney descendants added by Charles Watkins to Find a Grave
you'll have to do it by contacting Find a Grave support. It has now
been over 17 months since he answered any messages or requests.

That is so interesting, I guess he really took it seriously. I met India and Pauline when I was a kid. Maybe there will be a file on him at the Richmond library, worth a look. If there is something you want when I go back to the area, I'll be happy to look for you.
