RE: Frances M. and Emma L. Young

Glad to be of service and to help bring joy into your life and that of your family.

There are no markers for those on that list, so the photo won't help. The list is based on Loudon Park records for that plot. Accordingly, go ahead and make memorials based on that information and I will upload the plot photo to each memorial.

Yes, that sounds like Loudon Park; they are pretty disorganized (all of their pre-1990s records are in a card catalog).

Anyway, if you would like to create memorials for the others who are buried there, I will be happy to upload the overall plot photo and the Patterson plot marker.

RE: Frances M. and Emma L. Young
Dear Sharon,

You're quite welcome; it's a pleasure to assist, especially when the requestor is so appreciative.

I was a little disappointed to find that the only markers for Francis and Emma were foot stones without dates. But I'm gratified to know that even that much is a blessing to you and your family.

You will notice on the left side of the plot (in the wide angle shot) that there are two grave stones that have fallen over. One of the stones fell face down and so I can't tell who it belongs to. However, the other belongs to someone named Minnie. I thought at first that this might be Francis and Emma's daughter Minnie, but on closer inspection I don't think so. The birth year looks like 1865 and her husband was Charles something. The plot where the Youngs are buried is labeled "Patterson", so perhaps this is Emma's sister?

If you don't know who this might be, I can look up in the records and figure out who all is buried at that location. I will also send you a photo of the mysterious stone in case you can get more information out of it.

Best Regards,
Joe Canner

RE: Benjamin Dunkerley- Mt Vernon
Hi Sharon,

Unfortunately I am not related. My mother, who passed away last year, took on Mt. Vernon Cemetery as her personal project since it is closed to the public by the owner. We were very distressed by this, and finally after a year got into visit our family graves.

If you would like these graves transferred to you, please go to the Edit tab and make the request. All of Mom's memorials were transferred to me and I know she would want family to manage them.

(It's very time consuming to make corrections form the profile page.)

Thank you!
