RE: Lucien D. Coco III
At his baptism at St. Paul Father Buhot wrote his name as Dominique Coco III, baptized Nov 15, 1812 at the age of 8 months. (St. Paul Baptism Book # 2, Page 24, Number 208)
At the baptism of his 1/2 brother, Adolph Coco b:1825 s/o Dominique Coco II & 2nd wife Caroline Bordelon, he was the godfather and his name was shown as Lucien Coco, his bother. (Early Baptism Records St. Paul, 1826, Page 78, Number 1)

At his marriage to Julienne in 1852, his name is shown at Lucien D. Coco (s/o Dominique Coco & Zoe Juneau) (Avoyelles Parish Court House Marriage Records Book 2, Page 286)

At the baptism of his children: Julia, Emma Zoe & Louis Lestan, his name is shown as Lucien. (See St. Paul Baptism Book # 6, 1853 Pages 71 # 150, 1856 Page 121, # 161)

The 1860 & 1870 Census recrods show his name as Lucien D Coco.
The 1880 & 1900 Census records show Julienne's name as the widow Mrs L. D. Coco.

Louis Lestan named his 1st child, Lucien Dominique Coco. He signed his name as such on the World War I draft registration card.

Hope this helps
Jerry

Henry Lewis photo request
Richard,
I went to Magnolia UMC to find the grave of Henry Lewis and had no luck.

That church and cemetery was given that property in the mid 30's so your interment would not be there. However, after asking a church employee, I found that Magnolia UMC was a sister church to Blackwater UMC: http://www.blackwaterumc.org/

I didn't have time to go look at their cemetery today but will try to contact them later in the week to get more info before I had up there again. I'm sorry I couldn't help today.

RE: Hodgin
You are very welcome. There wasn't any markers with that name nearby, any other names I don't remember.

Hi, I did your request for Nancy. The marker has an "S" on the end of her name. I added a memorial and pics for her husband as well.
