RE: Glebe Church
Thank you, Jim.
I don't know why I even mentioned the O'Sheal family to you. I know you are not aware of what I'm talking about. I guess I was up too late one night and didn't explain myself very well.
The reason I sent you a message was simply to confirm what I'd been told about the graves at the Glebe.
David O'Sheal is my ancestor who lived on the Nansemond River bet. 1722-1745.
There is a deranged man on the internet who decides where those long deceased are buried, and he invents a memorial. He chose to invent a resting place for David O'Sheal because I have a website devoted to the O'Sheal family, and on the website I have information and pictures about the Glebe in Driver.
No one knows the burial spot of David O'Sheal. For all we know, David O'Sheal may have been lost at sea.
The deranged man has been stalking me and my ancestors since 2003.
There ARE some mighty scary people on the internet. BEWARE!!

Glebe Church
I, too, have visited Glebe, but there are no available cemetery records. I am copying and pasteing information from the Glebe Church:
"glebe church
All the headstones were knocked down years ago....Glebe's #757-538-8842"

The only tombstones were out front, broken, and/or damaged. I saw it with my own eyes.
Where did you get the names you placed for Glebe?
Are you aware the O'Sheal family records for Glebe are a fraud?
Thank you,
Connie Stringer

John King
Thank you so much for taking the time to take the photos of John King's stone. It is greatly appreciated. It's wonderful volunteers, like yourself, that make it so nice for people, like myself, who are unable to get to the different cemeteries to take the pictures ourselves.
