Bio Photo I have been researching mine and my husband's family histories since 1997.
I never liked cemeteries very much until I discovered that there is more there than te graves of my loved ones. There is a wonderful life story there and I love going and spending time will all of them.
My family Surnames include Dorei,Fedler,Scheetz,Schmalz,Holzmeister,Lorsn, Rottinghaus and Suppes.

Rottinghaus listings at Cedar Cemetery, Montrose, CO
Thank you for listing Jacob Rottinghaus. His marker also shows Marie E Rottinghaus. I have added a listing for her, but am wondering if you would like to post your picture of their marker to her listing? Your picture is sooo much prettier than mine ;)

Elizabeth Scheetz
Hi Marie. I was just making the additions you requested for Elizabeth. I assume "Pfifer" is her maiden name rather than a middle name, but before I add it, can you confirm?

Thanks, Lynn

Herman Dorei
Marie - I'm sorry! My last message should have been about Herman - not Frank! But the dates still don't match, so my question is the same.

Frank Dorei
Hi Marie. I'm a little puzzled that the dates you gave me for Frank Dorei don't match the dates on his headstone. Do you have good documentation for your dates? If so, I'll go ahead and change them with a note that they are documented, but don't agree with the headstone.

Nicholaus Lorson
I don't know that the cemetery has a "Potter's Field". I have visited there many times and my uncle was the sexton for the cemetery a few years ago, and he did not indicate that was one. According to the cemetery listing I have, Nicholaus is buried there, but the grave site is not known. This is true with several of the grave sites especially for people buried that long ago. Hope this helps.
