RE: Nordan Family Cemetery Location
Hi, Naomi.

I'm sorry to hear that, but thank you for responding. I'll check those places out when I head that way.

Nordan Family Cemetery Location
Hi, Naomi.

I see that you added a photo for a grave located in the Nordan Family Cemetery. I have two ancestors who are buried in the cemetery, and I would love to go to take pictures.
I haven't yet made a trip to Harnett County to search, but I have done some research on the internet, and I've come up blank.
You posted that the photo was taken in 1981 by a relative, and that the cemetery is on un-fenced private land (most likely in Upper Little River Township). Do you have any more information regarding where the cemetery is located?

Thanks,

Kelly

Wilson is a family name on my father's side. I have not researched that branch as yet. Sorry about the photo mixup. I am careful but it obviously happens. Anne

RE: Alley R Davis and Henry Davis
That would be great if you have better photos. You should be able to add them just by clicking on the add link on the photo page, or email them to me and I will be happy to put them up. Thanks!

St Mary's Leeds/Haydenville
St Mary Assumption, Leeds is the same cemetery as St Mary Assumption, Haydenville.

St Mary Assumption Church [now called Our Lady of the Hills] in Haydenville [which is part of Williamsburg] is responsible for the cemetery.

Leeds is the part of Northampton in which St Mary Assumption actually exists. Death certificates or obits will refer to it as St Marys Haydenville or St Mary Leeds but it is the same place.

I have St Mary Assumption transcribed and my winter project is adding all the memorials and pictures.
