While I grew up in New Jersey, both my parents' families are from Pennsylvania, and I now live in northwest Pennsylvania. I am a retired educator/ administrator who has been seriously working on my family genealogy since 2003.|
I try to add as much information as I can find on memorials I create and want that information to be accurate. I am happy to transfer grave memorials outside my family to friends and family members, and I welcome corrections and additions. Please use the edit tab, then suggest a correction, to send your request. This is the only way that I can do transfer requests.
You may use any of my photos for your personal use for family research and your personal genealogy websites and family trees. Please do not download and then republish any family portraits I post, as these come from private family collections.

|Marcia Lynne vonGunden||Transfer & thank you|
Hello again Sue,
First of all, there was no need to apologize for being so long in the transfer...you didn't have to do it all.
Now, I thank you for your generosity in transferring:
Ida C. Powers Schendler # 5563862
to my care.
With your help, I have successfully listed her with her parents, five of her eight siblings, her husband and two of her three daughters.
As I receive more information, I will be adding to Our shared memorial.
With sincerest appreciation,
|Paul Treacy||William David Emery|
I made corrections regarding William on his "Find a Grave Site. " I changed his birth date according to his death certificate. There is no photograph of his stone and no mention of his wife Fannie Bartholf Emery. I cannot for the life of me figure out where she would be buried. Their son Floy is buried in Kitanning Cemetery too. Interesting. Should you know anything please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
|Shannon L Ester||RE: Marvin Seib and Virgie Ames Seib|
Please add the following family links:
Son of Marvin and Virgie: Dale M. Seib memorial # 62600393
Second Wife of Marvin: Agnes McCoy Sislowski memorial # 146191633. -- Note: I will be asking the creator of this memorial to add Seib to her name.
I know that Marvin's parents are:
Edward Phillip Seib and Clara M. Crook, but I do not know where they are buried.

This record is a duplicate of #10825545 (Margaret Elaine Berkey Barnett) that I created. Someone else told me that your record existed. I wonder if you would mind deleting your record since the one I created has more info. Margaret Elaine Berkey Barnett was my great aunt. Thanks!

Thanks very much!
|JCPFinder||Regarding community practice|
I have a question about community norms, still being pretty new here. I often photograph a grave and then discover that someone has created a memorial for that person, but does not yet have a photo. So I post one. Should I then notify the manager of that page? It seems unnecessary, but I want to be sure I understand expectations and practices.
|JCPFinder||RE: John Lick/Aaron Lick|
Thanks! I will do that.
I just sent you some data to update the birth and death info for David Proudfit. I have been researching that family a bit. I found a history of the family compiled by the New York Public Library, at http://www.archive.org/stream/historicalsketch00comp/historicalsketch00comp_djvu.txt
It seems carefully fact-checked.
Gives David's birth date as indicated in my suggested edit.
|E.||You are a nice person|
Just wanted to tell you what a good person you are. I notice your work as I do my own research, you have helped a lot of people.
