Please feel free to use my headstone and cemetery photos however you wish.|
While fulfilling a photo request at Riverside National Cemetery, for a gentleman whose family member's ashes were interred on the long columbarium wall, I realized I had an equally good photo of the neighboring grave marker. So, I went to enter the neighbor's grave marker photo on his memorial page and discovered he wasn't listed at Find-A-Grave... So, now I am occasionally adding memorial pages for people whose headstones I have photographed at the Riverside National Cemetery.
If you discover that I have added a memorial page for a member of your family, and you would like it transfered to you, please leave me a message.

You took the photo of his tombstone at Riverside National Cemetery, memorial #1251335, and I thank you so very much. You sent me a message (2 yrs ago) asking if this was the right person. I'm not sure I ever answered you, and am so sorry about that. Yes, this is my cousin Gary, and Kathryn was his wife. Don't know who the other two names belong to however. mjd

Thank you for doing the link. I'll let you keep the memorial for now. He really isn't related. A sister of my grandfather married a Clawson so that is why I was looking at the Clawsons.

I have just transferred several memorials to Lynn Parsons 47837144 that are her immediate family. Would you consider transferring John Michael Zimmerman 90510933 and Helene Staub Zimmerman 90510621 to her since these are her great grandparents? I love it when the family members get in the right hands. She is fairly new to Find A Grave and I'm not sure she knows how the transfer process works.

Leon Hutchison is my father in law Thank you so much for the photo. Haven't been there since the funeral. We live in Oklahoma and don't get to travel much. Thanks for caring.

Hi Sunflower. I just wanted to let you know that someone else has posted a photo of the memorial I was asking after. My mother was enquiring elsewhere and the photo is now on the website.

I live in the UK and I've had a mystery in my family for many years about who my grandfather is and what became of him after WW2. He was billeted in England during the war where he met my grandmother and they had two children. He went back to America a few years after the war and nothing more was heard. My mother was just 2 years old when he left and with the help of a genealogist in Maine, I have at last found him. His name was Jim Neece Sanders (Born Feb 1918). He died in May 1990 and is buried in Riverside State Cemetery, plot 28 1915.
I was wondering (and hoping) that when you next visit Riverside State Cemetery whether you would be able to take a digital photograph or two of the headstone and plot and email them to me as I know it would be a great comfort to my mother after all these years, and to me and the rest of my UK family, to see an image of his last resting place. My email address is email@example.com
Thanks very much in anticipation.
I found the obit for this baby and thought you might want to add it to his memorial if you want.
