I started genealogy in 1992 with my mother as a young boy researching her side of the family first. Then in 1998, I picked it back up again on my own researching not just my mother's line, but also my father's. Between 1998 and 2010, I would look at the information on and off. Starting the early part of 2010, after watching the hit NBC show "Who Do You Think You Are," I picked it up again and haven't stopped. What a difference a decade makes in technology, thank goodness for the Internet!|
I came across FindAGrave while researching some ancestors and have fallen in love with it. It's a great way to honor your loved ones, and also help those who are not able to take a picture of the grave-site. This is also convenient as I visit several cemeteries each year.
Please feel free to drop me a message regarding the following surnames. I'm also looking for photo's of the people listed in my Virtual Cemeteries. Your help in advance is greatly appreciated!!

|David Leighr||Robards / Burch families|
I am researching these families for a gentleman looking to join the Spirit of 76 chapter of SAR which I am genealogist.
We would appreciate any help finding documents on these families.
He is descended from George Lewis Robards.
|molye||Joseph Jefferson Cary|
You have Kemp Cary and Rebecca Butler Cary named as parents of Joseph Jefferson Cary. None of my sources list them as having a son Joseph. However, they did have a son named Thomas Jefferson Cary with the approximate dates that you have listed for Joseph and who was known to have lived in Cass County. Maybe a little mix-up here? I am descended from Armenius Cary.

I see that you are related to "Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" (Hunter) Bothwell." I know Jackie has two children, Sara and Vernon. And Sara has three children, Joseph, Brandi and Sabrina.

How are you related to them? My Grandma is looking for relatives, and she is the Great-Granddaughter of Leanord. Also do you have any pictures of them?? My Email: email@example.com
Are you related to Leanord Wheeler Robarbs (1831-1830) and Margaret McFarland (1830-1900)
Parents of Leanord are: Andrew Lewis Robarbs and Eliza Waters
Parents of Margaret are: Matthew Nathan McFarland and Catherine Rhodes
|Deborah Crain||Strasburg Missouri cemetery|
are you related to the Colvin family buried there?
C. S. Painter was my great grandfather.He married Alice Colvin,my great grandmother.
A lot of her family is buried in Strasburg cemetery.
her family lived just outside of Strasburg.
thanks very much for your help.
I am a direct Roderick descendant. My father was Douglas Roderick whom I had no relationship with and he has since passed. Any Roderick history would be greatly appreciated. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks so much, Cindy Roderick-Elliott
|Carolyn Andrews||Giles Bowers Sr. Mem #69556744|
There is another memorial for this person. The mem # is 54790949.
The other one has a place of burial and the only difference is the year of birth 1706 vs 1715 and you have children, the other does not.
You might want to look into it. If it is the same person, at least you will know the burial site.
|delong1998||James C L Burch|
My ancestor is John Wesley Burch, who is a brother to James C L Burch. I see that you have that James married Jerusha Watkins . . . do you know a date or a place for their marriage? Thanks! Dan DeLong
Drucilla Temperance Sims Bowers was sister of my 2nd great grandmother, Isadora Sims Trantham. Let me know if there's any info needed.
