Bio and Links
I was born in Syracuse, New York. I spent my formative years in the Salt Lake City area and for the past eighteen years have lived in the San Francisco Bay Area and in September of 2012 moved to Seattle. I am mostly doing genealogy work on my family and they have been primarily located in upstate New York. The Dutchess, Wayne and Onondaga county areas.

Although, I have not officially indicated to be a photo volunteer if you have a request in my area. I may be able to help.

Thank You
Thanks again Eric, it's a privilege to meet you. If you're ever in Berkeley again, stop by Alumni House and tell them you are a Waldorf. I assure you, they will roll out the red carpet for you!
Have a good week.

Pappy Waldorf.
Hello again Erik. Sorry for not explaining my question. I am a University of California Alum, and a huge follower of Cal Football for over 50 years. (Sat on my Daddy's lap at Memorial Stadium)

I am interested in the history of Cal Football. I used to hang out at Pappy s Pub in the student union, and admired all the pictures of him on the walls.

It was a tradition to go pray in front of his statue before the Stanford Game. My Father once met him at a dinner when he was with the 49ers, but I never did. He and Andy Latham Smith, were the two greatest Coaches Cal ever had.

RE: Gisela Waldorf's father
I found another family picture with Gisela. From the size of my mother standing in the other end of the back row, I'd say it was taken about 1918. My mother was born in 1910 and looks about 8 years old. I'll keep looking and see if I can find any more with Gisela. These pictures were from my Aunt Verna's collection, so all references are from her point of view - such as Aunt Gisela. Verna is my mother's older sister (1898-2001) Dick Bruns

RE: Gisela Waldorf's father
I got on Ancestry 2 months ago on a 6 month deal. I have only entered a small fraction of my data on there. My main file is on PAF, with almost 7,500 entries, of which about 2,000 are my ancestors. I lived most of my life in Syracuse and went to Syracuse University, but also lived several years in San Francisco, some on Folsom St. and some in the Sunset - back in the 80s. Let me know what you want to do. Dick Bruns

RE: Gisela Waldorf's father
That is a big help. It means he is in either in the Wolcott or North Wolcott cemetery. I know that nobody has so far made an attempt to do the complete North Wolcott cemetery, as several pictures we took last summer were of people that weren't in findagrave. People have just entered graves they were interested in. I'll look again in the Spring or Summer when my son and I get there again. Thanks Dick Bruns

Gisela Waldorf's father
Erik, My grandfather's brother, Clarence Eli Richards married Gisela Waldorf. Last summer, While I was at services for my aunt at North Wolcott Cemetery last July, I saw the graves for Clarence & Gisela and took pictures of them. When I got home, I found they were not in findagrave, so I added them (122578182). I actually met Clarence once in Syracuse in 1950. Gisela's father was Thomas Jefferson Waldorf, born May 15, 1839 in Penn Yan, NY and died June 23, 1931 in Huron, Wayne, NY. He is not in findagrave and I don't know where he is buried. Do you know where he is buried? If you do, I can go there next spring, take pictures and add him in. Presumably, his wife, Mary Ann Dillow is there too. Thank you, Richard Bruns

Ada' memorial is 63628105

Father Samuel Cole is 55167762
Mother Elizabeth Cole is 55167763 ( note her maiden name coincidence!).

In case your wandering I am a distant Cole ancestor.

RE: George Barrick
Thanks for letting me know. I left him at Collins with the updated dates just in case a relative might get hold of the same database I used. In the bio, I said to look for him in Maple Grove. I really appreciate your time and effort.
