Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have always enjoyed walking through graveyards and looking at the interesting and old tombstones. I started researching my family history recently and was frustrated by the lack of information in my local cemeteries. I decided to become a member and start listing as many family members as I can. Additionally, I like the volunteer aspect of helping other members find their family thru photo requests. So feel free to ask me to help you out!

RE: Charles S. Peirce
Thanks for your help. The photos are great. I look forward to the list of other Peirce/Pierce family. I'm hoping that my great-great grandmother, Adelaide Mariette Peirce, might have her remains at Maplewood. Also her husband, William Hays Peirce.

Charles S. Peirce
Hello, Thank you so much for the nice photo of the grave stone of Charles Peirce. I really appreciate your help. I was wondering if you found the grave stone of his brother, Chambers? Are there any other Peirces in the cemetery that you saw? Many thanks! David (davidpierce3@cox.net)

RE: Merrimans and extended
Thanks I am aware of that cemetery and most of the graves are not photographed. I have 18 Merrimans there that I know of and they are all from the same Merriman line. David # 17241250 I think is the oldest. He was the father of Elias. If you ever get over and photograph the Merriman's I would be greatful.

David Elmer Asbury
Good morning, I was hoping you would know about man named David Elmer Asbury, he was born in 1887 and died in Mar 1962, he was the son of James Asbury and Margaret Beaver Asbury. I am trying to learn if he was married to a Arkie Parcell. He owned Asbury Barber Shop on Kanawha Blvd. He is buried in the Springhill Cemetery in Charleston.

Any information would be helpful..I noticed you knew a Bert Asbury.
