Alexander M Prather
I saw you left some information about Alexander M Prather in a note. He is my 2nd cousin, 4x removed and I've been researching that branch of the family.

Would you be willing to share some information on his siblings, family, etc? I would be happy to share anything I have that might be of use. My email is

James Becraft Higgins
Hello I read your note on James Becraft Higgins (12846893) memorial. He did not marry sisters. Verlinda and Mary Eleanor were not sisters, but cousins. Verlinda was the daughter of John Wilcoxon and Millicent Ruth Claggett. Mary Eleanor was the daughter of Jesse Wilcoxon and Elizabeth Claggett.

Also it is against Find A Grave policy to add biographical information to memorial notes. The information should be submitted directly to the memorial manager.

Thank you.

Elizabeth Pelfrey
Hi Candi,
Do you have any evidence that Elizabeth Pelfrey was really named Mary Elizabeth? I think people are confused by the fact that Thomas Brewer married first Elizabeth Pelfrey and after her death in 1858, Thomas then married Mary Polly Ely so in 1850 Thomas' wife was Elizabeth and in 1860, it was Mary.

RE: Robert & Sarah Brewer
I have seen multiple online family trees that note the same error. And a few other trees that state Robert Brewer, son of Valentine never married and died before 1931.

Robert & Sarah Brewer
While working on Brewer research I noticed your posting to the memorials of the Robert & Sarah Brewer buried in Menifee CO, KY. I think you have this Robert confused with a different man. This Robert would be the son of Jefferson Brewer & Gillie Ann Childers. He was married first to Zulema Bell Swango. Sarah was his second wife and they married Jan 17, 1898 in Menifee Co. Her maiden name was Welch.

Pleasant Brewer
Hi Candi
I saw your Comment on Pleasant Brewers memorial #44925677.he is my gggrandfather and I have searched for years on the burial site. The person that originally put the memorial on has him listed in the Brewer Cemetery which I have asked him several times where the cemetery is but have received no answer. Do you know where he is buried or have any other information. and are you family also. Thank you so much for any info.

Colonel John Powell Taylor
I'd noticed you'd mentioned the Powell name a few times under Colonel Taylor's page. I know people often took their mother's maiden name for a middle name back in the day, was wondering if Mary Bishop Gregory was related to any Powells? My mothers family are Powells & my wifes family on her maternal side are Taylors, would be interested to see if there was a connection.

John Todhunter 55313227
Please refer to the info just added to his bio section. He would have been born 1711 or after to be shown as under age 12 in 1723. Please amend the note you have added to his memorial to eliminate confusion.
