No relation. I am with the Richland County Genealogy Society and we have notebooks of obituaries which I am transferring to Find A Grave. If I have helped anyone wanting an obit, I feel like I am doing something worthwhile. It was great to read your connection, though.

You're very welcome for the photographs. I wish that I could have gotten better ones for you. I'm still kind of new to this so I'm not sure of the safe ways to clean the stones up without causing any damage :( The cemetery they are located in is heartbreaking. I am going to try to get in touch with the Howard County Historical Society to find out if anything can be done as far as stone repair and clean up...if not I plan to try to make it a "summer outing" with my daughters (whom I have gotten interested in the history of our local cemeteries) to at least clean up the grounds. My husband and daughters now know that if momma sees a cemetery we're taking a walk through it. :) I have tried to fulfill as many requests as I can locate and I plan to continue so hopefully I can fulfill more of yours.

RE: simeon

You might want to get with the other person who has the other memorial and see which one of you wants to delete their memorial. Yours was created after theirs but yours has the correct name on the memorial. I did send a message to the other volunteer with your memorial number at the same time that I sent the message to you but I have not heard from them. I would hate to see you both delete your memorials.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Thank you again,

Hi and you're welcome. His wife Hilda was buried next to him,but she was not on Find A Grave or mentioned on his page, so I made a memorial page for her and sent an edit into link them, but that takes a day or so to go through. So be sure to check that out in a few days.
