Thank you Bill. I have been on Ancestry looking for John Thomas and I did not see this one. I'll go back now and see if I can do better. I really appreciate your help and I will certainly send for his death certificate. If this proves to be the correct one I'll be back in touch.

I am Carole Cox Fowler. Are you related to Robert T. Cox and Synthia Ritch? If so, please let me know. I am looking for participants in a Cox DNA project. I need a direct male descendant from Robert T. Cox for a Y DNA test. Thanks

Bill, yes her name was Ritch Syntha Pamelia

daughters were Mary Henrietta Cox
Lillie Dell Cox and Huldah Ophelia Cox. There as no Lucy. He was married before and lived in Ga. His wife and two daughters disappeared off the face of the earth. I have looked for over 16 years and have not found even a marriage cert for him in GA.

This IS my family. I remember my grandmother talking to him when I was a little girl--- that was when you placed a long distance call and they would tell you what time they would call you back with the person on the phone. I have a letter with a Riverside CA postmark that he sent to her about their parents marriage.

Can you send me the name of the tree you found? I would like to contact the person, as they may well be a cousin!

Thanks, pinemtn76

Cox family
Hi Bill, I had sent Irish Indian a message also. I just sent information to him explaining my connection to Robert Andrew Cox. I looked in my saved info on the Cox line and he is indeed my gr uncle. I have written proof from my grandmother. And found his wife listed with her parents on the census of St Clair Co Al. This is where his parents lived most of their lives. I live one county away.

Cox family
He married Mattie Hawkins from
St Clair Co Al. His parents lived most of their lives in there. They did live for about three years in Lone Oak, Arkansas or OK. I can not remember which it was. I found his WWII application and it mentioned Long (lone) Oak.
I also have hand written information on him and his wife's name from my grandmother, who was his sister. I hope this helps.

I believe you will find the parents of
Robert Andrew Cox are Robert and Syntha Cox, not the ones you have listed.

RE: Larkin at All Soul's Cemetery
You are welcome and that is why I am a volunteer contributor :-) What a nice thought for you to provide a marker for your uncle. If and when that happens, please send me a message and I will be happy to take the photo as well as delete the unmarked grave photo I have posted. Happy New Year BB!

RE: Larkin at All Soul's Cemetery
I visited All Soul's again and spoke with a different person in the Cemetery office who gave me a different burial location than the first :-).

Norman is buried in Section B, Grave 8, Lot 1762 but unfortunately his grave is unmarked. I confirmed this with the Cemetery office - they found no record of a marker having been placed. So sorry.

My initials are BB but my grandchildren call me "Grammy" - nice that you have grandkids to call you BB. Take care!

Larkin at All Soul's Cemetery
I recently claimed your photo request for Norman Larkin. The cemetery gave me a burial location but I could not locate it when I was there yesterday. Will call them again and ask for their assistance. In searching for Norman I located a CORNELIUS (1907-1972) AND NELLIE LARKIN (1914-1980) buried one lot above where Norman is recorded as buried. Any relation? I have taken the photo of their grave marker, so if they are your family and you want to create memorials for them, please send me a message and I will post the photo - no need to submit another photo request.
