Bio Photo New to FAG, but pleased to support this nice site.

I have been working on my family history for a couple of years now and realize how calming it can be to learn about our past.

I am in NW Indiana and willing to help if I can.

RE: Use of a photo
Scott: Please feel free to use the headstone photo on your family tree. There might be an index at the Iowa County Historical Society in Dodgeville. When I am in Wisconsin, I photo as many tombstone as possible, but I do not have a list of all who are interred there.

RE: Thank you!
Once the weather clears I will get them for you. Probably soon - like May. 8-)

There is no Find a Grave memorial for Nichols (Nicholas?) .

RE: Thank you!
My pleasure, Scott. Did you know there are two other Anteloppe graves in Evergreen? Nichols and Lotta Anteloppe. I do not know what relation they may be to Francis. Nichols' headstone is not listed but his grave is as Div D single Grave 950. Lotta's is easier, close to Francis, (but still apart quite a ways in the same section) and I will try to get both of them this weekend. I like to round out any family connections I can.

RE: A huge thank you!
You are welcome - it was my pleasure. And no we do not have snow - if there ever was snow at the Golden Gate National Cemetery, I would be very worried.

Happy New Year,
Debbie

RE: Thanks for the Merickel input
The full names, dates and links you should do on Findagrave, it makes for more accuracy for everybody. As far as bios, that's all up to you.
I read that article, quite interesting!!! I kind of think someone had it in for him! He was probably one of the wealthiest people around, and that kind of stuff happens to them.
I tried to run down some of the other family members, but no luck.

You have a Pauline D:1905, is this one of A.J.'s wives? The stone says Lena, 1860-1905.
Lena for Pauline is probably what it means?
