Live in Anson, Texas, was born and grew up here. I joined find a grave.com in 2010 and enjoy searching for family. I recently started adding names to area cemeteries as I find names not entered or when I read obits in the paper. I usually only add names to cemeteries in my general area unless the name is family and is in a remote cemetery. I also enter names of any I know to be from Anson buried other places.
I will transfere any names to family members if you will contact me.
In adding graves in Mount Hope Cemetery I contribute much of the success to using the book put together by Bill and Ann Simpson and published by West Texas Genealogical Society in 1994.
I find some names added to FAG are ones not deceased as of yet. The reason being some people have headstone set before they pass away with date of birth and those set before 1995 are listed in the book even though they are not deceased. The problem I have with doing that is some have been entered by someone who no longer is active and when contacted to enter the person's date of death when that person is deceased will not respond to correct the memorial.

i enter all that the Albany News and both funeral homes However sometime one will be in the Abilene news that is not in ours I try to enter within 5 day. I have seen your memorials in Albany before so check us out to make sure if you have time. | | |
