Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an experienced researcher of local history and genealogy in and around the area in which I live and have written a hard cover book called The Addison Album with much information and over 900 photographs in it. I also have information on surrounding areas and others pertaining to my own genealogy.

I live in Addison Twp., Oakland County, MI. We have two township cemeteries here, Kingsbury and Lakeville cemeteries. I can help with most graves in them.

I also have information on others.

RE: Goold/Montross/Secord families
That little cemetery in Jeddo is one of my favorites that I've visited. Very tiny and inactive. We almost missed the entrance. I had directions but it's not marked at all and is only an opening in a heavily treed area - drove by it twice before we found it! Peter Hartwick is my husband's Gr, Gr, Gr, Grandfather. The Hartwicks eventually married a Chadwick, who then eventually married a Secord. The Montross/Goold families mentioned by you in your first e-mail are one set of my husband's Gr, Gr, Grandparents on his dad's side. Are you related to any of them?

RE: Goold/Montross/Secord families
Hi Barbara - thanks so much for contacting me! I also live in the area and have hit most of the cemeteries in Macomb County-my mother's ancestors all settled in the area and I have been able to find many of their graves. The Goold/Montross/Secord names are all on my husband's side. I will certainly keep you in mind as I look further into these families. Thanks again!

Message I left abt genealogy
Hi, Barb-thank you for kind message-I got some of it from a poem I found abt what we do for ancestry and graving! We surely are the keepers of their stories-some of our kids dont appreciate it yet...hopefully some day they will want to remember! And put it in records...Have a great day~

Thanks for taking the photo of her grave. I was wondering if it would be possible to either get a close up of the marker that is more readible, or an attempt at a transcription of what the tombstone might be saying, especially as it relates to the dates or any ages cited?

Thanks for taking the photo of his tombstone. Would it be possible for you to return and get a close up of the monument?

RE: Cooley Family
I'm sure having a time getting these messages through to you with the adds popping up.
You are so kind to offer that about the Cooley's. They are from my husband's tree and I'm working on one of my tree's right now.
Thank you so much for your message. I will keep that in mind when I get back to the Cooley's. There are so many of them.
