RE: Schuessler
I'm trying to add the photo we took of Carrie Schuessler's stone. Findagrave is taking a few minutes to download so the photo should be there shortly. Thanks

RE: Minerva
Dorothy,
Here is what I think. Frank Dodd was born Feb. 23, 1891. James Edward Ferguson married third wife, Serena Francis nee DUNCAN on Aug.6, 1891 in Mason Co., TX (record and date from Serena's pension application and Mason Co., TX Marriages, 1877-2004). This makes me believe that Minerva possibly died during childbirth or in the months before James E. marriage to Serena in Aug., 1891. I believe, that your memorial is for Minerva Jane nee NOLIN Ferguson. If, it were me, I would unlink James from her. Are you sure Frank Dodd was born in Mason Co., TX? I have a current cemetery book of Mason Co., TX and it does not list Minerva being buried there. Let me know what you think.

RE: Minerva
The reason I am asking about NOLAN being the last name. On your memorial for Minerva her name is listed as Minerva Jane nee NOLAN Ferguson. I think, I found this one in Tyler Co., TX and she did marry a M. Ferguson in Tyler Co., TX. This sure gets confusing. the one in Tyler Co., TX was born abt 1835 in Texas. Abram's daughter would've been born in Louisiana. Hope we can help each other. Take a look at your memorial for her.

Minervan Jane nee NOLAN Ferguson
Dorothy, I know you are the granddaughter of Dodd Ferguson. Most of the trees on Ancestry show Minerva to be the daughter of Abraham Roberts from Louisiana. Is that a mistake? The dates on census' do not match her birth date. I see that you show her to be a NOLAN. The marriage record in Mason Co., TX shows her to be Minerva E. Roberts. Was she married to a Roberts prior? I am hoping you can help me clear this up. Connie
