I am helping my mother with her genealogy research by locating our ancestors' graves. Then, I got involved with several friends, helping them create their trees and memorials. You can see the names we are following in my virtual cemeteries.
Along the way, I have found others' ancestors and created their pages. Now I am hot on the trail to document our ancestry to Daniel Morgan Boone. And, to find the "Women of the American Revolution." If I have entered any information that is incorrect, please contact me for a correction. I want to keep the information as accurate as possible.
I'm happy to transfer management to family members, just ask! Please use the "Edit" tab and "Suggest a Correction" when doing so and remember to give your member#.
I believe that memorials should belong to family members whenever possible, as family have a personal interest in honoring their relatives and are better able to complete, maintain and improve memorials with additional details and research. I am more than willing to have family members "adopt" them. I have no desire to accumulate memorials nor to burden myself with so many that I cannot accommodate updates and changes.
Please feel free to use any photos I have posted in your research work. © Photo courtesy of Find-a-grave member #47361005

 | RE: 3 Leggotts Glad I could be of help. It's always nice when families are connected! :) Yes, you may post on Ancestry as long as you credit "With permission from BJJ@findagrave.com" and the date. Thank you for asking.Added by BjJ on Apr 29, 2013 7:32 PM | | | Mary Pearson Tiefenthaler
 | General help You seemed nice with your responses so I thought I would ask you if you don't mind.
I am new to this site and I don't know the proper way to do things. Are you suppose to ask before you link someones page to your virtual cemetery? If you have information to add to a memorial someone else started can you add it or do you need to ask them if you can add it.
Thanks for any help you might have. | | | G.Photographer

 | Charles Gustafson Janet, the work that you have done on Uncle Charlie and his family is impressive. Thank you. My dad always mentioned that he lived in Red Oak, Iowa. I think once when he flew my mother and brother out to see our Aunt in Creston, he borrowed my uncle's car and went over to Red Oak to see him. I don't know if they actually met.
There was a third brother who came to Illinois in 1869, the same time as Gus and Pers, but he went back to Sweden and it is believed that he drowned when the ship went down. The floor of the North Atlantic must be littered with the debris of trans-Atlantic ships that did not make it across, going both east and west!Added by Cheryl on Apr 02, 2013 1:06 PM | | | Louis Roth

 | RE: Daniel West d 1816 Hi, Janicet: Thanks for the comment on the Daniel West memorial listing. I agree that the pic is not for a stone of Daniel, but for a "consort" of his. I edited my comment to make sure that is reflected, but left the pic linked to the Dan West memorial in case someone is looking for more about his family connections. I don't see a memorial created for this consort yet, but that would be the other option, I suppose. TomAdded by TF Lyon on Mar 30, 2013 4:09 AM | | | | [View all messages...] |
