|Dustin Alvin Hill||Memorial #59302554|
Would you transfer Memorial #59302554 to me? My ID is #48335791. Her parents are my 2nd great grandparents. For some reason I cannot link this memorial to them as being one of their daughters.
|Brian Howard||RE: Plateau Cemetery|
Sorry for the slow reply. My two daughters and I found the Plateau Cemetery after three tries. We walked the ridge based on a description in an old area history book "Way Back When" by Myrtle McNamar. She had the location wrong, but described it as being on the ridge above the creek.
I posted the location and 'to reach' description to the Fix/Update forum. But until that is actually posted to the cemetery; here it is:
Directions to this cemetery are as follows: From the North Fork Battle Creek bridge, go 0.4 mile south on Manton Ponderosa Road to a road on right. Follow road to right about 0.15 mile to cemetery (road has locked gate, may have to walk).
I have flagged this road from the Manton Ponderosa Road to the cemetery with orange flagging. Should take you right to it. Good Luck and enjoy.

Hi! I'm Matt Wells, Ernest's grandson, and how can I help to replace his tombstone? Thanks, Matt
Thank you for locating Mr. Bedient's plot. I really appreciate your help!

Thank you very much for the Wells photos, I do appreciate all the help!

Was there a Cramer in the plot? That might be June's son from first marriage.

Thank you, it means a lot to us.

No we never got to the cemetery site. It is in the Cassel area near one of the Pit Power Houses.
We were working with some people who lived in the
area and were warned off. PG&E apparently leveled
the markers and the people living in the area were not too friendly. So we said fine, end of story.
