I've been interested in genealogy for a long time and thoroughly enjoy the time I spend in cemeteries, whether it's for my own benefit or someone else's. |
If anyone wants to use headstone pictures that I post, feel free -- no royalties required. I'm also happy to take any other pictures of the area that you would like -- let me know what you want and I will do my best.
If you have any additional information that you would like added to memorials that I manage, let me know. I want each memorial to be as complete and accurate as possible. I'm also happy to transfer memorials to relatives/friends who want to manage them, so please don't create a duplicate. I believe that memorials are best taken care of by the people who loved them.
My ultimate goal is to help photographically document all of the cemeteries in my area so that the existence of the people buried there is available to future generations and to ensure that people who can't visit on their own can still see a picture of the stone.
Note re Kirkland Cemetery: This is a heavily treed cemetery and many of the stones are covered in moss. If there is a particular stone that you would like re-photographed, feel free to let me know and I will see what I can do to clean up the stone.
-- Cedar Lawns (done)
-- Kirkland Cemetery (Done. Many, many unmarked graves in this cemetery. Many stones very deteriorated.)
-- Redmond Community Cemetery (Done)
-- Sunset Hills (The outside is complete, with only the Sunset Mausoleum left to finish)
-- Hillside and Upper Hillside (both Issaquah) I have walked both cemeteries, adding more recent memorials and looking for stones not yet photographed.
Although I have marked a cemetery as done, new graves may have been added and/or I may have missed a couple, despite my best efforts to be organized.

Somewhere up the line, and then down, we probably have a common ancestor. But, for now, I haven't traced them ... the tree is incredibly large! LoL

Yes, my number is 48262996. Sorry for the confusion.

If it is ok with you I would like to request my mother's site 149276724 and my aunt's site 128110181 be transferred to my account 130289764. Thank you very much for creating their site.

Did you ask for a merge with the prior memorials created for him?
|Larry G. Hutchinson||Kenneth Hutchinson|
The marker shown for Kenneth and Doris Hutchinson is attached to the wrong person. Kenneth Eugene Hutchinson, my uncle, was only married once, to Florence Grace Stiggins Hutchinson. I don't have a photo of my Kenneth's marker, but it must be next to his wife's.

If you are ok with transferring to me, that's fine; I was going to transfer the cenotaphs to you, figuring one person should probably manage both sets.
|John Speer||RE: Gregory A Bailey|
Thanks for taking care of the Bailey brothers. I believe the Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden is at 112th Street (?) just north of downtown Bellevue. It is relatively new, featuring a columbarium wall, along with a couple of cenotaph ... pillars (for lack of a better term); I had a tough time locating the actual site, because it's part of an interior patio space.

Thank you so much for transferring the memorials for the Clark's. Your help is most appreciated.
