if you are a relative or family friend and would like a transfer of ownership of a memorial, I will gladly do so, unless I am a direct descendant. I have created many cousin lines and I would rather the memorial be in the hands of someone more closely related who can truly represent their loved one|
My virtual cemeteries are generally my direct ancestors, with a very few exceptions. Time permitting, I will create a 'Distant Cousin' and 'Random Additions' virtual cemeteries which will make it simpler to decipher when hoping for a transfer.

|CAS56||RE: Thayer/ Nash / Niles|
Hi Anne - so sorry for the delayed response. I hear you re the NYH&G Society Publications carrying weight. I generally used to just follow them until I found this weird thing about my grandmother's family and it turned out that they had mis-transcribed a letter from my uncle and deleted a couple of commas -- which ended up transferring my grandmothers brothers to her mother!!! It took quite a while to straighten out.
I will dig through and send you what I have on Thayer/Nash/Niles!!

He's not in my line. Sorry, I don't know anyone who is. But thanks for your effort.
|Jim Childers||RE: John Hoffman|
Thank you, but John Hoffman is not related, I was just making links and adding history to memorials, which I di a lot of, just to make the memorials better for everybody.
The new edit tab is for making corrections, all you have to do is click and approve, no typing or adding things in manually. If you don't reply to them within a certain amount of time, Findagrave will step in an do it for you. They have taken over much more control of the site since Ancestry bought it over a year ago.
Thank you Anne. Bergen-op-Zoom Canadian War Cemetery is not far from my hometown. Love the picture of Pvt Lefurgey.

I know I still have several duplicates, even though I thought I had cleaned them all up at one time. I wish the program could detect them somehow, but I don't think it can. Oh well, better 1, 2 or 3, than none. LOL

I hadn't realized I'd created a duplicate of your memorial. My intention is always to add just the photo to a memorial already created. This happened to be one of the duplicates I overlooked and didn't catch. So I went ahead and deleted the memorial I created and added the photo to your memorial. No, she is not related to my family that I know of. I definitely like them consolidated whenever possible.

I just realized their is a third cemetery which are one and the same: They are
The following cemeteries are one and the same:
"Cape Traverse Free Church of Scotland Cemetery" location Cape Traverse, Prince County, Prince Edward Island Canada
and the other "Free church of Scotland Cemetery" location Cape Traverse
