|Mitchell Sanders||Armstrong Family Cemetery, Silver Creek, MS|
Sir, would please change the name of this Armstrong Family Cemetery to the Longino/Price/Neal Cemetery as noted at the Mississippi Department of Archives & History.
The original name was the Price Cemetery and was changed sometime during the WPA era. This cemetery is located on land originally owned by Jonathan Price, Sr.
The Armstrong Cemetery is located just East of Silver Creek on Rabbit Road.

Hello, cousin! Our ancestor Phillip Henry Cook has a very interesting line. His father (Johann Heinrich Koch) was a Hessian mercenary who fought in the Revolutionary War, was captured, and decided to stay in this country. Johann Heinrich Koch (now renamed John Henry Cook) married Margaret Lightfoot, who is a direct descendant of the British House of Plantagenet. As far as I can tell, our closest royal ancestor is King Edward III (grandson of King Edward Longshanks, whom you might know as the wicked king in "Braveheart".
If you send me exactly how you descend from Phillip Henry Cook, I'll add you to my Ancestry.com tree, and you can see our whole line all the way back to William the Conqueror.
Thank you for the photo of Sophrona Cook Thornton's headstone. It looks great! Are you related to her? If so, we're cousins!
