Bill Bahring Jr.
Isaac Bowen bio on Findagrave
Hi!
My name is Bill Bahring and I am researching a line that includes Isaac Bowen. You were kind enough to submit a picture and bio to Find a Grave.
You indicate in the bio that Isaac married Olive Harris. Everything I have found indicates his wife to be Anna Smith Wight. Can you help me with information on the Isaac - Olive marriage so that I might resolve my conflict. All other information in the bio you provided agrees with what I have found.
Any information you might provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Wow!
Just found your entry on David O'Shields, who I have as Daniel (right wife and kids, but not much else). I got a lot of my (mis)information from a local "expert" on the line, lol.

Am working on this line for my adopted son and am looking forward to way too many hours tonight after dinner picking through this stuff and correcting errors in my record, adding new facts, following up leads in your text.

Just wow.

This opens up so many new avenues. I was so stuck here. This is a line my son was particularly intrigued by, so the brick wall was especially frustrating.

Nice work!!

Thank you so much for sharing it.

RE: thanks for transfer
It's from cemetery records, but not a document. I can go down in a week or two and ask if they have copies of exact records. Or you can call and ask directly. I'm happy to pick up a copy for you or take a photo if they'd allow that. The books they allow us to look through are basically print outs of their database.

RE: transfer request
I am happy to transfer and it was my pleasure to help find unmarked graves at Glenwood. We are still working through other sections.

At some point I will get a photo of the entire plot, similar to what is on #134268737. We've just been doing that in absence of any grave marker.

RE: transfer request
Hi David,

While I would be happy to add updates/info you would like to share, these are also relatives of mine so I won't be transferring their memorials.

Sorry,
Deb.

My family tree is on ancestry.com Jonathan
Williams of Leesville, La.

She is my family, and in my family
information and family tree.

Williams family line,
the info I don't have,

Pilgrim Williams 1675,
John Williams 1702,
had two son's
1st was Samuel Williams 1725,
his son, was Philander Williams 1750,

2nd was Pilgrim Williams 1727,
his son, was Joel Williams 1750,
he married Penelope Nash,
their children,
William Thomas Williams 1778
Henry Williams 1781
Rowland Williams 1782
Drury Williams 1784
Robert Williams 1786
Wilson Williams 1788
Nathan Williams 1792
Zilpah Williams 1794
Penny Williams 1798

Now,
two of Joel's children,
William (Willie) 1778, and Henry 1781,
both married two of Philander Williams' daughter's,
(first) Elizabeth Williams married William
"Willie" T. Williams,
their son, was
Moses Williams (1800), Moses married Nancy
Wilder,
their daughter was
Lydia Williams Bowles,

(second) Mary Polly Williams married Henry
Williams,
their son, was
Joel Williams (1806), Joel married Mary
Frierson,
their son was
Joseph Anderson Williams (1836),

Now
as I said before,
John Williams, had two son's,
Samuel and Pilgrim Williams,

Samuel Williams had a son, Philander
Williams,

Pilgrim Williams had a son, Joel
Williams,

(Two brother's married two sister's from
two sets of Williams from the same family)

Now,
I have the information on both of
my families, I am a Williams and I am
related to Lydia Williams Bowles.

Now,
If you need help with the Williams Family
Tree, Family information, let me know,
I can help you more than you know.

Jonathan Williams

Elizabeth O'Shields alias Wooten Harrison
I have a question about the memorial for Elizabeth. There is a photo request came in for her grave and in her name you have "alias Wooten Harrison". Do you mean she was also known as Wooten Harrison? I don't understand the alias being in there. I need to know what name to look for. She is not listed in the cemetery survey there, do you know if her grave is unmarked? Thanks!
