William Arthur "Artie" Gruver|
I worked for Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton Missouri for Abt. 30 yrs. as A Boiler Operator. Most of the memorials I have added is family to me or my wife. If you have info on any of them let me know. Would be glad to add to what I have or change it if needed. If they are not our family, would be glad to turn them over to you. You may use any pictures that i have put in. In Ancestry Family Tree Maker 2012 I have tied over 12,000 names of our family's together all over the world.

Find A Grave Memorial# 33897425
Do you have any Idea where in the cemetery this grave may be located?
It is not in the database for the cemetery but the records from 1927 to 1960 were damaged and or destroyed in the May of 1960 tornado
Thank you in advance
Dear Mr. Gruver,
My mother is a Staley. Jonas S. Staley married Hannah Cronn. Hannah's mother was Effie Barbara Gruver. Effie's mother was Anna Catharina (and now for the first time I know her surname) Swartswalder. I found her on Findagrave. I have looked for her for many years.
I would love to know anything you would be willing to share on the Gruber and Swartswalder families. I would share this information at our Staley family reunion.
Thank you, in advance.

I saw your memorial for William Gruber listed as unknown burial. Forks Cemetery is listed in Find A Grave. It is in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. His wife, Barbara is already listed in Forks Cemetery under Find A Grave Memorial# 31521407. You may want to delete your memorial for her as it would be a duplicate. My husband and I added the cemetery photo of her gravestone.She is the 4th G Grandmother of my husband.

I am confused as to who Balthasar was married to. Rosina is referred to as spouse and mother.

Thank you so much for the information on this family. Asher Gruver was my husband's grandfather. He helped build the Cuban railroad in the early 20th C. I had info up to my 4th great-grandfather Hans Peter Gruber. I have a Ancestry.com tree. If you would like to be invited to see it, send me your email address.
|John Cooper||Cross Family Cemetery|
We have created duplicate sites on Find A Grave, quite by accident. My family is related to the Cross Family, and our history, as does yours, shows the 'Cross Family Cemetery' as no longer existing. My research has gone a lot further, and I have located it adjacent to the Pretty Boyu Reservoir. Just last week, I was in Maryland and found a man in his 90's living on the farm that was owned by the Cross's in 1867 per the tax map. He verified where he was told there was a cemetery when he moved there in 1940, and showed me the spot. The issue is with a descendent of Solomon Cross, who can't decide which one to use, as they are identical. Would you mind removing yours (#79334702) because I have a lot of graves to add to mine now (#126664490). It would help eliminate the confusion.
PS, I am also a licensed Stationary Engineer.
|David Whitehead||Memorial 9396399 Richard Noah Whitehead|
I believe you have the wrong Richard Whitehead to whom you have attached a Gracie E Gruver. His find a grave Memorial # 9396399, in the Whitehead Cemetery, Wayne county, tn. Richard is my half 1st Cousin. Richard or Noah was born in Wayne county to Jahu Whitehead and Addie Stowe in 1882. I doubt that Noah was ever more than 40 miles from where he was born and was certainly never in Illinois or Missouri. His wife was Ida Whitehead who appears to have been his cousin. They had 8 children.
Richard/Noah and Ida are buried in the Old Whitehead Cemetery on Opossum Creek in Wayne County, Tn. Theirs are the only readable tombstones in the cemetery and there is no usable road to the cemetery. The land where the cemetery is located was owned in the 1800's by my and Richards grandfather and we assume that there are several graves there of William, our grandfathers family from the 1800's.
If you wish to transfer management of Richard/Noah's memorial to me as an immediate family member that would be good with me.

You have his death date wrong. So does SSDI--he died August 4, 1974. That is what is on his tombstone.
He was also married to my great grandmother at the time of his death-- Clara Margaret Baldwin Griesel.
