I have made the name correction.
|Kay ||RE: Final resting place for Ralph Sharp|
Please be advised that Ralph is not buried in a cemetery in Scioto Co, Ohio by this name as there isn't one. However I'm sending you the correct link so you can transfer your info and then delete the wrong site. Glad I could get you this far. Kay

You're welcome! We photographed everything we could find, but so many of the stones are already unreadable that the cemetery is still considered only 77% photographed. Glad yours was one we could figure out!
Hi! I made the changes and linked his family. Are you related? If so, would you like to manage his memorial? Barb

I was in Georgetown Cemetery filling photo requests today. Came across this tombstone and took the picture as an after thought. Did not know it was one of my indirect Hardman ancestor cousins.
In addition, Joshua, her father, is not listed in the Vandalia Cemetery book. Neither is Susannah. I wonder if he is not in the Old Georgetown cemetery in the woods? John Dexter and Elizabeth are not listed in either book.

Could we add, especially, the last paragraph to his bio? I did not realize he was already in the list and put in mine. I will delete mind. He and I share a birthday Oct 7th and I began my vocation as a minister in the Methodist church late in life just as he did. He is my great (3) grandfather.
Shortly after John and Betty were married, they moved to Little Skin Creek where they settled near the south of Curtis Run about a mile above the junction of the creeks.
Early in the inception of reformed Methodism, a society was organized on Little Skin Creek, not far from where Georgetown is located, in Lewis County, West Virginia. There are many names now precious in our memory , which once belonged to this class at old Mount Gilead Church. The old church house is gone, and so are nearly all the old members-Rev. A. Spore and wife, Rev. John Hardman and wife...This is the headquarters society of the Georgetown Circuit.
