RE: John Acker
That is so cool that she will now be able to read what the stone actually says! I have corresponded with the creator of that memorial. She says that Eliza is a wife of John's and that W. C. is a son. Thanks for being a go-between to help your friend make this connection! Blessings, Barb

RE: John Acker
My hubby and I decided to go up to the Cemetery and see what we could do for the John ACKER gravestone photo. We ended up temporarily using shaving cream to make the words readable. We immediately washed it off after taking the picture. Now your friend should be able to easily see what John's stone says. We also re-took the close-up photo for Eliza as the light was much better on that side this evening. Blessings, Barb

You are most welcome, JayCee! I will see what I can do for a better photo next time I am at the Cemetery. Did your friend realize that there were names on all four sides of the gravestone? All ACKER names in Graceland Cemetery are now entered on memorial pages here on F.A.G. Blessings, Barb

Thank you so much for taking this for me. I live about 500 miles away and it is not very often I get to be there.

Thanks for the photo
Thank you for posting Howard Ball's grave marker photo on his Find A Grave memorial. Your kindness is much appreciated. Too bad he doesn't have DOB on it yet.
