Gabriel F. Keath
Gabriel F Keath, husband of Deborah Case Keath Fiscus is buried at Body Cemetery in Woodland, Iroquois County, Illinois. Could you add a link to his children buried at Ash Grove/Pitch In Cemetery. Gabriel was my great great grandfather & was married several times. Other spouses that I show are Elizabeth Bly, Nancy Hillis, Mariah J Moore (possibly Fry before Keath)

RE: Sarah and Charlotte Ring
Hi Danny,
That sounds right about William Jr. If he died iearly, his info would be hard to find and he would not have been there to have his land grant approved.

As far as Sieges and her marriage(s), I must search first thing tomorrow morning for those Ring records I saw, I vaguely recall a prior marriage for her, and he may very well have been named Thomas and may have been her husband William's brother. Widows often married their husband's brother.

I do remember her name was so odd I looked it up in many on-line records to be sure of the spelling. This may have been when I came across a prior marriage for her.

But, don't quote me yet, I have been having forgetful moments lately.....I call it the '60plus syndrome'. Let me look first and get back to you.

Sarah and Charlotte Ring
I saw your post Danny about Cahrlotte and Sarah being sisters. My records show they were:

Wiliam Ring Sr (d: Nov 1815 in MO)
wife, Sieges Parish (no info)
children:
*Charlotte Ring (1809-1890)died in AR
husband, George William McCord Sr (1806-1858)
*Joseph Parish Ring (1810-1861)died in TX
wife, Elizabeth Caroline Gilliam (1820-1874)
*Sarah Ring Allen (1812-1867)died in AR
husband, Peter Allen (1785-1852)
*William Ring Jr (no info)

During the 1850 Census in Horsehead Twp, Johnson Co AR, Joseph, his wife and children, lived next door to Sarah and her husband Peter.

Let me locate my notes on the source of all my info and I will send the link your way.
Linda

RE: Sarah Ring Allen
No I don't know. I recall seeing information on the Ring family when I added the memorial for Sarah Ring Allen but I don't remember where it was. You might try this web site http://www2.arkansas.net/~enewsom/
Ed Newsom or his wife is related to the Allen family and he lives a mile or less from the family cemetery. I will see if I have any notes which might be of help and let you know if I do.

Good Luck,
Tim McKinney
