Karen: I transferred his memorial to you -as I am not related. Take care, and happy springtime!
|Imogean Magnusson McDonald||RE: two Odie Houston Edwards|
There are no pictures on O. H. Jr.'s grave as I just put his memorial up yesterday. I guess you are talking about O. H. Jr.'s tombstone being on the grave of his father. I didn't put the pictures up and I can not take them down as someone else put them there. I have know most of Sr.'s children all my life and lived next door to Nettie Edwards Helums.
If things are not right I don't know what else to do as I just don't understand about having things wrong.
|Imogean Magnusson McDonald||RE: Odie Houston Edwards|
I don't see an error about being different Odie's as I don't see a memorial for Odie "O.H" Jr. in Gatlin Cemetery. I DID NOT add the tombstone pictures.
I have transferred management of the pages for Paul and Willie/William Sorenson to Find a Grave. You have no reason to contact me further. Read the instructions on the website for editing and adding info, please. My work with the 2 memorials in question is finished. Please stop sending me messages regarding these people.

I am sorry you have interpreted the status of the memorials I created as something that is either 'right' or 'wrong'. As I have replied previously, it is Find a Grave policy, not my personal opinion that is reflected on the memorial pages in question. As far as documentation, you were INcorrect in stating that there are no records. There is in fact a death record at the Eau Claire county court house for at least one of them, William/Willis who died in 1901. I went there yesterday and pulled the indexes and record books myself. I have the notes. I added the information I found on the memorial page. You can order the same records yourself if you wish from the Eau Claire county court house for a fee.
Please, feel free to contact Find a Grave with your threats and displeasure.
I had nothing to do with the engraving of the 1901 grave marker. Family records and history can vary greatly even between close family, also the spelling of the names. I do the very best I can to add information that is as correct as possible using the resources I locate. And I am a volunteer who does it all for free. It is unfortunate indeed that those who receive the benefit are at times so unhappy with the results.

I will keep your message and see if I can get over the mountain this next month and try to get a photo of her headstone for you.
