I descend from William and Susanna > Martha Ann BROOKS & Thomas Ross BROOKS > Joseph Benjamin BROOKS & Mary Frances EVERHART > James Robert BROOKS & Melinda Ann LINGO > Alfred William BROOKS Sr. & Eugenie Elizabeth ROBINSON (my grandparents) I would love to exchange some information with you. Can I email you through the Evermore website? Do you know what happened to William and Susanna's son Jesse Thomas Ross BROOKS? He is mentioned in the Jesse BROOKS, Sr. Bible and Jesse BROOKS, Sr.'s will. I'm trying to determine the parents of Martha Ann BROOKS's husband Thomas Ross BROOKS. Martha Ann is definitely the daughter of William and Susanna, as she is mentioned in both of their wills and Jesse BROOKS Sr. Bible. Some researchers have her husband Thomas Ross BROOKS as the son of William and Susanna, but that would mean Martha Ann married her brother. My guess is that he was a cousin. He was born 24 DEC 1813 KY based on census and his headstone. Jesse Thomas Ross was born 3 weeks later 15 JAN 1814 in KY based on the Jesse BROOKS Bible. I would really like to find out what happened to Jesse Thomas Ross, and who Thomas Ross's parents were.
