Hi, I noticed you left flowers on my grandfather's grave and I was wondering how you knew him. He passed when I was very young so I didn't know him well.

That's very exciting! We are 5th cousins! I descend from William and Susanna > Martha Ann BROOKS & Thomas Ross BROOKS > Joseph Benjamin BROOKS & Mary Frances EVERHART > James Robert BROOKS & Melinda Ann LINGO > Alfred William BROOKS Sr. & Eugenie Elizabeth ROBINSON (my grandparents) I would love to exchange some information with you. Can I email you through the Evermore website? Do you know what happened to William and Susanna's son Jesse Thomas Ross BROOKS? He is mentioned in the Jesse BROOKS, Sr. Bible and Jesse BROOKS, Sr.'s will. I'm trying to determine the parents of Martha Ann BROOKS's husband Thomas Ross BROOKS. Martha Ann is definitely the daughter of William and Susanna, as she is mentioned in both of their wills and Jesse BROOKS Sr. Bible. Some researchers have her husband Thomas Ross BROOKS as the son of William and Susanna, but that would mean Martha Ann married her brother. My guess is that he was a cousin. He was born 24 DEC 1813 KY based on census and his headstone. Jesse Thomas Ross was born 3 weeks later 15 JAN 1814 in KY based on the Jesse BROOKS Bible. I would really like to find out what happened to Jesse Thomas Ross, and who Thomas Ross's parents were.
Thank you for writing! I will put your line in my database! Hope to hear from you.

I saw that you had left flowers on his memorial, and am curious... are you related?

You asked that I include his birthplace: Belleville, Chautauqua County, Kansas. But the dropdown menu did not include that town, so I added it in his bio. Thanks for the additional info/links.

Thanks for the links to parents' memorials on John Sparks in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. I wish others' requests for family links were as easy as yours. You provided the Find A Grave numbers, making it a snap to add. BTW, welcome to Findagrave!
