RE: John Finch
Hi! I've traced the Finch family on back to around 300 B.C. and it's quite a history. Would love to know what info you have!

RE: Hannah Finch WILLIAMS
Thank you for writing to me. Please feel free to contact me anytime about our ancestry.

This is how I go through the line:

John Williams (1730 - 1809) married Hannah Finch Aug. 31,1761. They are my 4 great grandparents.

Their son:
William Williams (1762-1848) married Honour Davis on July 28,1803. They are my 3 great grandparents.

Their son:
William D. Williams (1816 or 1817 - 1896)married Catherine Bryner . They are my 2 great grandparents.( William D. is Jane and Sarah's brother).

Their son:
Isaac Newton Williams (1854 - 1917) married Margaret M. McCann. They are my great grandparents.

Their daughter:
Hattie Williams (Oct.3, 1891 - Sept. 26, 1974) married David Franklin Wilt (Oct.13,1886 - Dec.25,1967) married on Oct.18,1909. They are my grandparents.

Their Son:
William Warren Wilt (Feb.2,1919 - Aug.21,1995) married Mary Vasko (Nov.20, 1911 - Feb.22, 2001) married on Jan.1, 1947. My parents.

Then you get me.

Grandpap David Wilt had a brother who was younger than him. They were separated when he was around 6 years old. I do not know his brothers name or where he went. They were supposed to be raised by 2 different families.after the parents both died. Don't know if brother took adopted family name or not. Also not sure of David's dad or mother's name. Having trouble finding that out.David never heard from or about his brother after the separation.

Do you have any more info on the Sarah - John Wesley Wilt line? Do you have the names of their children?
David was born in New Market, Shendanoah Co, Virginia. Were they any where near there?

RE: Jane Williams Bryner Hadley
Thank you for the added info on Jane...I've put it on her memorial. And I appreciate the info on the French just never knows where the familial connections will come into play, do they?!

As I said in my bio, I love what I do and am always glad to update info and make changes. Good luck with your family research. Thank you for getting back to me so quickly!
