If you see any of my family pictures of stones or individuals I do ask that you please ask me first before you post them elsewhere. That's including Ancestry.com Thank you.|
I've been fully involved with our family genealogy since 2010. My mother in law started me down the path in 1998 but when my father passed in 2010 I really seemed to dig deeper into it. I currently live south of Tulsa, Oklahoma but I have ancestors from Kansas, Indiana, Arkansas, Kentucky, Pennsylvania just to name a few. My paternal lines are Giles, Hagerman, Walter, Dew, Reed, Hill & more. My dad was born and raised in Medicine Lodge, Kansas and is buried in Highland Cemetery. My maternal lines are Netzel, Johnson, Moore, Kain.

I think you might have asked me this before. Frank and Paulina's daughter Christeena married my 3x great-uncle Lewis Arndt, so they are family by marriage but not blood. Is Geneva Giles your grandmother?

You are welcome.
|Dee||RE: Pinecrest Cemetery|
Julie, yes, Pinecrest Cemetery is a small cemetery. It is located on a hill on the property of Bethany Christian School. Most of the people buried there were connected in some way to the Bethany Orphanage/School/Mission. You might find more information about the cemetery by contacting the Bethany Christian Mission Center located in Bethany, Wolfe, KY.

You are welcome; I'm glad to help!

I never received a transfer request and had transferred her to Findagrave 8 for maintenance. If you are related, they should not have a problem transferring her page to you. Send a SAC stating your relationship and request a transfer like you normally would through her page. Red

this is where I got the information that she is buried there... it is from Graves Family Association lineage submitted by family / researchers.
#7192. Susan A. Boyd, b.c. 1836, m(1) Milton Stapp, 1852, m(2) George Sanford, 1857, d. 1884. She was buried in Milburn Cem.
IF there was no grave stone and/or the transcription is not complete.... maybe it is correct. Otherwise, I don't know. But I had to really think about this to figure out where I got the information that she was buried there... :-) Not sure what to do now... Deb
|Deb Merrick||RE: Julia Boyd|
I removed the Julia Boyd grave since there was another one and it had different dates (don't know where I got mine unless that was from earlier genealogy?) The other was added after mine, but had a photo, too. Clearly the dates are on the grave and I have added to my tree (FTM). Also, not sure where I got the information on Susan Boyd Stapp Sanford, but will do some more checking... If you want to send me a note or the cemetery info, great. email@example.com. Thanks!

If you wish to add the photo to Ancestry.com that is fine. Please do note that you got it off of Find A Grave though. I will not put pictures or info on Ancestry myself because I want my info where my family can access it and we cannot afford the cost of Ancestry and there are a few other things that I do not care for about the site. The site does have a lot of info on it though.

You are very welcome for the photos.
