I have been doing our family genealogy for about three years now. My mother in law started me working in genealogy around 1998 but when my father passed away in 2010 I really seemed to dig deeper into it. I live in north east Oklahoma but have ancestors from Kansas, Indiana, Arkansas, Kentucky, Pennsylvania just to name a few. My paternal lines are Giles, Hagerman, Walter, Dew, Reed, Hill & more. My dad was born and raised in Medicine Lodge, Kansas and is buried in Highland Cemetery. My maternal lines are Netzel, Johnson, Moore, Kain.

Susan A Boyd Stapp Sanford
this is where I got the information that she is buried there... it is from Graves Family Association lineage submitted by family / researchers.

#7192. Susan A. Boyd, b.c. 1836, m(1) Milton Stapp, 1852, m(2) George Sanford, 1857, d. 1884. She was buried in Milburn Cem.

IF there was no grave stone and/or the transcription is not complete.... maybe it is correct. Otherwise, I don't know. But I had to really think about this to figure out where I got the information that she was buried there... :-) Not sure what to do now... Deb

RE: Julia Boyd
I removed the Julia Boyd grave since there was another one and it had different dates (don't know where I got mine unless that was from earlier genealogy?) The other was added after mine, but had a photo, too. Clearly the dates are on the grave and I have added to my tree (FTM). Also, not sure where I got the information on Susan Boyd Stapp Sanford, but will do some more checking... If you want to send me a note or the cemetery info, great. dendebmerrick@q.com. Thanks!

RE: Ernest L Hagerman
Julie,
If you wish to add the photo to Ancestry.com that is fine. Please do note that you got it off of Find A Grave though. I will not put pictures or info on Ancestry myself because I want my info where my family can access it and we cannot afford the cost of Ancestry and there are a few other things that I do not care for about the site. The site does have a lot of info on it though.

RE: Hagerman Family
Hello,

Yes I am related to the Hagerman family, My 3rd gr aunt was Clarissa Dorsey who married Simon Peter Hagerman from Ohio, Simon's father was Aaron Hagerman who had several children.
The family came to Indiana in the 1820s and settled in Shelby co Ind and some of the family branched out.. I have not found the conection to Randolph co as of yet but the name is not the most common

I will be glad to share any info,

Dave

RE: Dew Stone photos
Hi Julie! The military marker on Roy Dew's grave was an American Legion flag holder. It was turned around backward. I tried to turn it around, but the ground was too hard. I looked up his obit, and all it said was "He was a world war veteran." Since he was born in 1881, I would say that it was WWI. Anything else I can help you with, just let me know!

transfer
No problem on the transfer, always use the edit tab when asking for the transfer and include your Find A Grave #. That helps the person that you want the transfer from.
