RE: Newport Greene
It was off on its own. But the foot stone seemed a little far away.

Bentley Family Cemetery
Hi...I took your request for John Bentley. I've been doing a little digging to locate the cemetery and come to find out it's just a mile or two away from my house. Two caveats - it's in the woods, and it's on private property. I put a call in today to the town clerk who is on vacation until Monday to see if she has any idea on who the property owner is and if she is no help I will start knocking on doors in the area.

RE: Scott Family
I went back to the Almira Cemetery today to try to find the headstone for Agnes Sylvia Scott. Her name is on the cemetery guide but I was unable to locate her grave. I did find a marker for a Sylvia L Scott, b. Sept 5, 1920, d. June 2, 1953. I will leave the photo at on her page for you.

Ella Rose
I have a photo of an 'Ella" headstone (standing alone) near the Rose family marker in Maple Grove Cem. Candor, NY. Is this the same Rose that was requested?

RE: Scott Family
I didn't photograph that grave but when I go up there again I will look. Send me a "request" and I will try to go back up there this summer. This cemetery is a little over an hour north of my house in the dry land wheat farming country so I don't get up that way to often. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to help you!!

RE: Nathaniel Chapman
I wanted to let you know that I revisited the Baptist cemetery in Paris, Oneida Co., NY and still am unable to find any of the Chapman stones other that John Chapman's wife, Abigail. I did add abt 20 photos to 10 more people, though, that are in that cemetery. It seems that John Chapman, himself, placed many of the other stones as there is a mention of the fact on several of the stones.
I'm not giving up, yet, though! So many of the stones are broken or worn down to just about nothing. :( It started poring out and I got soaked when there. I was so hopeful in finding them! I will keep you posted.
