Bio Photo A 2nd generation San Diego, California native I have been investigating family through Ancestry since 2010. I worked as an administrative assistant and office manager to several financial planning companies. I am married to my best friend and we have two children and 3 grandchildren a dog and a cat. Family is important for they are forever a part of our lives and history. My Ancestry tree is dedicated to my grandchildren so they will know from where they come as a memorial to their mother.

RE: James M. Brown
So the search goes on. Your James even looks like my Browns. And of course, my James was a James Marion Brown named for an uncle with the name James Marion Brown. Thanks so much for your response. I shall enjoy looking at your family tree. carolyn brown burt, Hunt County Texas

James M. Brown
Karen I have been searching for James M. Brown since the 1970s. I think I may have found him as the result of your postings on Find a Grave. The James Marion for which I have searching would be the grandson of Reuben Brown of Fannin County TX and who arrived in TX before TX became a state. His father was William Brown re family lore and died when he was given a wrong drug by a nurse. This William was a brother to my ggreat granddad John R. Brown who settled in Hunt County TX ca 1881. John and William had another brother, James Marion Brown for whom the second J.M. was named. It would be a pleasure to visit with you about the Brown family. Sincerely,Carolyn Brown Burt.
