Michelle Clayton DNA match and tree info
Hello Jared:
I sent you two emails about my connection to the Phillips line with the other ancestry member (betsyrobbe). So far looks like either Hugh was her father, or one of his brothers. Another possibility is his nephew Benj Phillips who lived with them according to the 1910 census. I sent some links in the second email. I hope you can access them. Let me know what you think.

Thanks, Michelle Clayton

Hugh Lindsey "Bud" Phillips
My great grandmother Viola P. (P for Phillips, she had no middle name) Crenshaw was supposedly told by Hugh he found her in a cotton field when she was about 3. My mother Sharyn Shcreik, maiden name Moses is the daughter of Betty Lee Hill. They never knew who her parents were, but my great grandmother though Hugh may have been her real father. I found a 1910 census with Hugh, his wife Mary, their son Fred, Mary's sister Mattie and Hugh's nephew Benj living in Pee Dee Village, Rockingham,NC. Later I found a birth index with no date of birth, even though every other one on this page had a date written, for a Viola Northam, no father was listed, mother was Mattie Northam in the town of Wolf Pit, Nc. I think she may have been her mother. I noticed on Hugh's memorial page he was said to have been her uncle. If you have any information you can share I would be very tankful. I am working on a family tree and can go no further without her birth parents info.I had a DNA test and I do have distant cousin s from the same Phillips line that are strong DNA matches according to the results. So I am almost positive that my great grandmother Viola's father was a Phillips. Thank you in advance for any info you can share.

Fred Stancil "Sam" Phillips
I linked him to his dad. Based on the info in father's memorial, I added Sam as Fred's nickname.

RE: Patton Cemetery (Montgomery County, MO)
Patton Cemetery (Primary Coordinates: 38.77, -91.4643)

It has been almost 2 years since I was out in the area and St. Charles County next to it. We kept branching out. I could find the coordinates on a web site and a map around Busch Wildlife. I think I tried to find it once and probably took a wrong turn. I remember being around Busch Wildlife. I even looked at the web-site for the local historical society with no luck

RE: Bethany Cemetery
I'm sorry, but I have not been to this cemetery and can not give you directions. The Montgomery County Historical society in Montgomery City could probably help you. I believe that they are open on Tuesday mornings.
