RE: Eliza C. FaG #14922742
Did he leave before his wife was buried? If he were still here, I wouldn't think the stone cutter could have gotten away with spelling his name incorrectly. Eliza's stone definitely says wife of William "Hadcock."

Eliza C. FaG #14922742
The stone says "Eliza C. wife of William Hadcock" but doesn't say anything about William being buried there. I did not find any William Hadcock or William Haddock in the cemetery records.

RE: Allport Family
The Allports were a remarkable family of doctors who contributed greatly to the landscape of Chicago medicine. My pleasure, Bob Lerch

I received an email that you suggested an edit on this memorial, but when I go to my Edits tab this edit is not there. Please resubmit if you would like this updated.
Thank you!

The red stone was damp & hard to read but after enlarging the photo on my camera it reads:

James Sechrest 1828-1899,
Ann " 1834-1907,

I will check with Springdale & get back with you as soon as I hear something.
I was also given a map of their location which is how I found them.

"Is there any chance that this is Alice next to Albert and not someone named Darl? If not is there another stone there for Alice? She was my great grandfathers 1/2 sister. Sherry Havener"

Sherry, I am sorry to report that I do not know the answers to your questions. You might consider contacting the person who posted the pictures.

RE: John Andrew Knotts
hi I have stopped working on Yates tree as I called it since I really started it for ludeens brother and of course I added the haveners Im now working Jeans Taylor tree and may regret doing it because it will be a challenge
I just went into the mt zion cemetery book I have
and the john a knotts that you are talking about would have been born in 1833 died in 1903?
I found another John F. 1867 to 1945 and wondering if that is the guy you are looking for? He is buried by Goldie a daughter Just go and look at the list in the Mt Zion cemetery now?
Im kinda busy right now but if you will remind me
I will go over sometime next week and see if I can
find the stones of these people?
Hope this helps?
