RE: James A. Clark
Hello, I am looking at my Clark family line. I'll see what I can give you in the "Short Story".
Thomas Clark (Born - 1755 in VA) wife unknown.
had a bunch of kids, one being:
James Clark born abt 1782, died aft. 1837 in Madison County, AR. Married Agnes Henderson, born 1783.
Another Son: Benjamin Clark (1790-1850) married Mary Hayes (1791-1841) (my branch)
They had James A. Clark (1817-1866) TN. He married Rebecca Sanders (1816-1886) this James Clark is the one buried in Caney Fork Cemetery,
Look at "Clarks of Otter Creek and Related Families" on Roots Web by Fay Clark. Or mine, The Clark Family Tree on Ancestry.com. Hope this helps, always looking for more "Clark's".
