RE: Susannah McCausland and Jane Harper
Thanks Harvey. There were a lot of McCauslands and allied families. Some of the stones are probably theirs. I also know from a book that there was a family burial plot on the land that they owned, without stones, so some are probably there too. The aunt was very likely a Quaker. But her brother and most his children, including the other Susan, show Presbyterian and Church of Scotland, so probably buried elsewhere. Thanks again for taking the time to check on this for me. And of course I now have a photo of the Susan I wasn't expecting, as well as Jane (McC) Harper. That info was correct.

Susannah McCausland and Jane Harper
Thank you so much for the photos. Jane was correct. The photo of Susannah McCausland had me perplexed for a bit until I figured it out. Is it possible there are 2 Susan/Susannah/Sarah McC's buried in Soc of Friends? There were 2 of them - aunt and niece. The person who has the memorial (Ralph), has the information right for the niece, but the photo you got was for the aunt. It does answer what happened to the aunt. So I thank you much for that. I will contact Ralph and see what he says. A photo can clear up so much!

Thank you for taking the photo! He was my 3rd great grandfather on my mother's side. Much appreciated since I don't live in the area.

William/Ella Reesor
Thanks for trying to locate the Reesor headstone at Locust Hill and for confirming the cemetery records say he is not there. The odd thing is that William's obituary says he WAS buried there, which is probably why the person who set up the memorial put him there. So somewhere there is a mistake - either obit or cemetery record.
