|Neoma (Cissy) Beaty Walshaw||Moses Washington Faucett|
The birthplace entered at this Find-A-Grave site for Moses Washington Faucett is WRONG. Neither his parents, nor Moses, EVER lived in Clayton County, TN.
Moses Washington Faucett was born in rural Henderson County, TN, on his father's farm, and he lived and worked on the same farm where he was born until he emigrated to Texas in 1878. In the 1870 US Census, Moses's residence is recorded in Madison County, TN, but this is only because a portion of Henderson County was given over to Madison County, TN in about 1876.
The nearest post office to the Henderson County, Tennessee, farm belonging to Moses's father was at Jackson, TN.

you are very welcome

You're very welcome Vickie. I noted that the markers weren't photographed and while up there geocaching behind the cemetery I thought I'd get the pictures. I never knew it was up there and the view is awesome!

You are so welcome. There's some Collie's in the Campbell Cemetery-maybe your kin. Sandy

You're very welcome for the photos. McKeesport Versailles is a overwhelming cemetery because it's so large and because there are so many missing stones. Glad that I was able to find yours! I've been to Texas once to find my ancestors graves.

Dear V Strange,
Thank you ever so much for filling my photo request for Oscar J. Gray! It was so kind of you to take the time to do this very special favor. I will notify his daughter that the photo has been posted, and I'm sure she will be very pleased as well.

Check the caption on the picture for burial date that should give you a lead to death date. See if you can find obit in the week of that date.

Thank you so much for the photos of my grandparents' headstone, John & Dee Garrison, in Henderson. The time and effort you took to do this is so appreciated! Cathy C.
Thank you so much for taking the picture. :)
