| Bio and Links | I used to do genealogy with my mother 20+ years ago, but busy lives and time got away from us and we took an extended break from our research. I've recently picked it back up where we left off, and am so grateful for the internet and all the wonderful and helpful people I've already met along the way. I've just been working on my maternal side, which is mostly in Eastern Ohio, and some in Western Pennsylvania. My main names of research are Worthington, Haver, Thompson, Davis, Wilson, Cree, Shreve, Myers, Stainbrook/Steinbrook, Mauler/Mauller, Liebtag, Bartchy/Baertschi, Eckert, Hager.
All photo's I post are posted for the families. Please help yourself to saving them and using them in your trees. | |

 | Laura M. Hayman 78601844 I did... but only as a fluke. I saw that you had claimed Harry's memorial. I don't like it when others post photos to memorials I have claimed, so I don't do that to fellow gravers.Added by Barb on Mar 06, 2013 2:40 PM | | | Barb
 | Laura M. Hayman 78601844 Oops... you claimed photos for a memorial that I already posted photos too. Just wanted you to know. Thanks again for being a photo volunteer!Added by Barb on Mar 06, 2013 2:13 PM | | | Barb
 | Simpsons at Park Hill Although the cemetery records list there is no marker. As a photo volunteer it is important to double check the location. Most people who request photos would still like to see a photo of the general area, even if there is no marker. Or even a photo of the grass where a marker should/would be. In this case, there actually is a marker for the Simpsons. I photographed and posted it. Generally no marker in the beginning, means no marker today, but in some cases, you can be surprised. As in this case. Thx for being a photo volunteer!Added by Barb on Feb 26, 2013 1:24 PM | | | Barb

 | Error on posted photo August, You posted a picture for William R Ferris (Find A Grave Memorial# 37317064) and applied a caption that said that he was buried with his wife, Jennie (whose name and dates are on the bottom of the stone.) In point of fact, if you look at the memorial closely, his wife's name was Sarah Jane (Steele) Ferris. 'Jennie' Ferris is their daughter, Sarah Jane Ferris. If nothing else, look at the birth dates, they are way far apart.

 | James M. Haver James should be listed at Fairfield Cemetery in West Lafayette, Ohio. There is not a cemetery called West Laf. Cem.. There are several cemeteries in the area & they all have their own names.
Thanks, Jan in West Lafayette, Ohio. | | | | [View all messages...] |
