|Martin Burrell||Rev William Boyd Moore FAG#61662125|
Please, correct your error.
Rev. Moore was not born in Oregon, or Ohio. According to his own record he married three times. The first marriage was in Lawrence County, Ohio. They were married for four years. His first wife is buried there and her birth family were farming there. William and his wife were also farming there when his wife died. His parent's were born in Virginia and West Virginia and he was born is [likely] West Virginia. I do not remember at the moment.
It is also likely that William's parents had moved to Ohio. As there are quite a few Moore names in the cemetery.
There was a reference to his birth placed on his memorial by you that needs to be fixed so as not to leave false information that he was born in Oregon.
In 1916, he was pastor of the Lents M.E. Church now in Portland, Oregon.
Thank you all of your good work, Martin Burrell
Read his obit carefully. I crossed out Ohio as his birth state. The maiden name of his second wife was Estelle Mary Jane Holt.
While it is true that their first child, John Stanford Moore was born in Canyonville, Douglas, Oregon on 16 May 1889. It is also true that they spent their first seven years of marriage in Portland, Oregon. They were married in about 1888.

Would you please remove your Ancestry.com photo entry on Memorial# 19029764 Jonathan January and Memorial# 19029773 Elizabeth January?
I have Death Certificates to upload but cannot now because there are too many extraneous documents.
Thank you so much.

I appreciate so much your wonderful photographs of her grave marker and the map showing its location in the cemetery. Thank you for your efforts :-)
|Linda Claxton||Karl Hathaway #70621290|
I have checked everywhere for information regarding where Karl is buried. He's not listed on the national gravesite locator in any US cemetery and is not listed at Miramar National Cemetery. This cemetery wasn't completed until 2011. I have personally photographed every marker in this new cemetery (1777 markers), unfortunately he's not here at Miramar National. You can still honor Karl on this web site, but it would help others if you marked this as burial:unknown.

Your photo of John's gravestone solves a mystery. In the 1880 census John was shown with his wife Jane, but in the 1900 census he was with Anna. The more recent census said that John and Anna had been married 17 years. That told me that Jane had probably died between 1880 and 1982. Sure enough the tombstone shows that Jane died in Jan. 1883, and it even includes Anna as John's second wife.
I would like to request your permission to use that photo on my family tree on ancestry.com. Since a photographer holds the copyright to his/her photos, I always like to ask before posting a photo to another web site.

Hi Dan; Nice to hear from you... I was so happy to help, I came across the obituary for her while I was searching for some of my own family. Another person asked me to see if I could connect the photo she had to my obituary and since I have photoshop it was easy, and which I was more than happy to do. I hope the information you found was helpful.
Hi Dan, I recently purchased some January family photos at a local antique store. I would like to add them to their memorials, but you have added some messages about how you added John as a wife to Philena and some others. I have contacted Tami about adding links from Philena to her parents, and I am sure she will add the links. In the meantime, could you please remove one of your "pictures" from the following memorials so I can add some real photographs to their page?
Also, if you are related and interested in the original cabinet photos, just let me know. I am not related myself, and would love to get them to family. Thanks so much, :)Jessica

I noticed you've left a lot of information on the memorial for Philena A. January Yates. I just wanted to let you know that I came across her obituary in the Eugene Register Guard from Jan 1955, while doing a search for my own family. I have posted on her memorial.
