 | Karl Hathaway #70621290 Hi-
I have checked everywhere for information regarding where Karl is buried. He's not listed on the national gravesite locator in any US cemetery and is not listed at Miramar National Cemetery. This cemetery wasn't completed until 2011. I have personally photographed every marker in this new cemetery (1777 markers), unfortunately he's not here at Miramar National. You can still honor Karl on this web site, but it would help others if you marked this as burial:unknown.
Best regards

 | John C Simpson & his 2 wives Hi, Dan, Your photo of John's gravestone solves a mystery. In the 1880 census John was shown with his wife Jane, but in the 1900 census he was with Anna. The more recent census said that John and Anna had been married 17 years. That told me that Jane had probably died between 1880 and 1982. Sure enough the tombstone shows that Jane died in Jan. 1883, and it even includes Anna as John's second wife.
I would like to request your permission to use that photo on my family tree on ancestry.com. Since a photographer holds the copyright to his/her photos, I always like to ask before posting a photo to another web site.
Many thanks, JackiAdded by JackiMex on Nov 02, 2012 11:03 PM | | | OurFamilyTies
 | RE: Philena A. January Yates Hi Dan; Nice to hear from you... I was so happy to help, I came across the obituary for her while I was searching for some of my own family. Another person asked me to see if I could connect the photo she had to my obituary and since I have photoshop it was easy, and which I was more than happy to do. I hope the information you found was helpful. ~Wanda | | | jessicado
 | January/Yates Hi Dan, I recently purchased some January family photos at a local antique store. I would like to add them to their memorials, but you have added some messages about how you added John as a wife to Philena and some others. I have contacted Tami about adding links from Philena to her parents, and I am sure she will add the links. In the meantime, could you please remove one of your "pictures" from the following memorials so I can add some real photographs to their page?
Also, if you are related and interested in the original cabinet photos, just let me know. I am not related myself, and would love to get them to family. Thanks so much, :)Jessica

 | Philena A. January Yates Hi Dan,
I noticed you've left a lot of information on the memorial for Philena A. January Yates. I just wanted to let you know that I came across her obituary in the Eugene Register Guard from Jan 1955, while doing a search for my own family. I have posted on her memorial.

 | RE: Armstrong Family Photos Hi Dan, sorry for the late reply--I was on vacation. If you would like an invite to the tree on Ancestry I started for the family, I would be more than happy to send it! I did find some relatives who want the originals, so now that I am back from vacation, I am going to go and pick them up for them. That is nice she isn't alone...well not really as someone else died as well, but I'm sure you know what I mean! I do feel connections with some of the cemeteries I work with and the families within...some stories are so tragic. It makes me feel good to help them be remembered. :)jessica | | | jessicado
 | Armstrong Family Photos Hi, I ran across some Armstrong Family photos today at a local antique store (Springfield, OR). I purchased one of Christopher Armstrong, and I took photos of the rest which I have uploaded to Find A Grave (when applicable) and the rest to a family tree online. There are 3 photos of Vernita Armstrong, one of her sister Anna, 2 of Mary, 1 of "Aunt MInty" (still not sure who that is). If you would like an invite to my tree online to view the photos, just let me know. If you are interested in the originals I purchased, or the ones still in the store (and do not live locally to purchase them yourself), just let me know and I can arrange to mail them to you if you are willing to reimburse my costs (I do not charge any extra fees other than my exact costs!). :)Jessica | | | M. | Wesley Winfield January Hi ❀ While I was at Crystal Lake Cemetery to day I also found some of the names on your request. I have not accepted any of the request some have been claimed already.
But I did find a W W January next to the graves of Jonathan and Elizabeth January. The dates on the stone have 1858 - 1930. Is this the same person you are looking for?
If this is the same person I have a photo of the gravestone.
