Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been working on genealogy for about 10 years, primarily on my dad's side of the family. My wife and I love to walk cemeteries and write down the inscriptions on the headstones. We work primarily in cemeteries in north and central Beltrami county, Minnesota. I am working on family history from southeast Mn, primarily Winona, Olmsted, and Fillmore county. Names I'm currently working on are Clark, Outcalt, Christenson, and Gihlstrom.

Sugarbush Graves
The Minnesota Genealogy Society has listed a burial area called Sugarbush Graves located about a mile north of the Sugarbush Cemetery. Have you been out in that country? It appears to be state now. I have had Judy Krenz working on finding a volunteer with a 4-wheeler and lots of bug spray to see if they can find it. I offered gas if I could ride along with my battery weed eater in the past but so far no luck. I am 78 and probably not a convincing 4-wheeler passenger. I maybe could find a 4 wheeler and a driver but doubt that the fellow is acquainted with the area. Finding an overgrown burial ground is tough at best. I have seen your name going back pretty far on cemetery entries so would like your take on this idea. Cordially, Grace Petron

Christiansons at Clarks Grove
The photos I took were for an AM, NC, and Grandfather, all born in the early 1800's. It's a really nice cemetery just off 35.

RE: Lossing photos
I checked your bio and had a duh moment. I was in Minn this past summer and stopped at Clarks Grove Cemetery in Freeborn county and took some photos. Would your relatives have an alternate spelling of Christianson?

Eva Mae Christenson Chilson
Hello Sam. I am researching one branch of my husband's family, surname, Losey. Eva Christenson Chilson's husband, Chris E. Chilson who was either widowed or divorced, married Getrude Nora (Losey) Schwartz on Feb 20, 1943 in Preston, MN. I was wondering if you or anyone in your family knows where Chris E. Chilson is buried. Gertrude is buried at Crown Hill Cemetery in Preston, MN, but I have been unable to find any record as to where Chris is buried. Any help that you can provide would be much appreciated. Thank you. Sue
