RE: Alice Pearl Meader
You are welcome. Ask away. I love to snoop and have Ancestry and some newspapers I subscribe to. Nice to have a friendly comment. I have had a couple...not so. Cheers.

RE: Alice Pearl Meader
Sorry, I don't have much more on her. I do have a obit. I will copy below. She is a sister to the father-in-law of my husband's aunt. His name was John Martin Helsing. Crazy how one becomes involved in all this. Anyway here is her obit.

Mrs. Alice Meader, 53, resident of Moorhead for two years, died Monday at 10:45 p.m. in a local hospital. The family home is at 1201 First avenue south. She was born in Ohio.

Funeral arrangements are pending arrival of a son, Harry, of the United States marines, stationed at San Francisco. The body is at the Leo Johnson chapel.

Surviving are: five daughters, Mrs. Fanny Schober, Moorhead: Mrs. F. A. MacLoughlin, Mrs. John Cuddihy, both of Dilworth: Audrey and Dorothy, at home: two sons, Harry and Thorton, Rusco, N.D.: a sister, Mrs. J.M. Helsing, Fargo: two brothers, Charles Atkins, Merryfield, Ohio, and Ira J. Mead, Granville, N.D.

(I typed this as it is printed and there are a few errors but...Ira was Nead not Mead. That is just one. Spellings of the daughter's married names too.) Hope this helps. Fritzi

RE: Ben & Dora Pepperdine
Unfortunately, the only way to add children is from the child's memorial. Tropico doesn't manage George Pepperdine's memorial. Please go to George's memorial page, click the edit tab and send a note with Ben & Dora's memorial numbers.

Kuhl question
I have a photo of Myrtle Kuhl with my g-father Henry Fred Beard in Milk Rive AB-c. 1935----I found a Myrtle Kuhl--d. in Florida---b.1879. Being as this is an unusual name, do you think they might be related? The Myrtle(Kuhl)Kohler has no bio so I thought I would ask you before I added a photo to her memorial. Thanks in advance for a reply. Bob in Boise, Idaho

Alford family headstone @ Lake Delton
Hi, In the middle of Section 2 of the Lake Delton Cemetery, I did find one headstone with the name of Alford on it. There was a small stone on one side of the headstone that said Father and another on the other side that said Mother. However, there are no dates and no names except Alford on the large headstone. Therefore, I don't know if it is Sanford or Harry Alford's headstone. I work full time about 20 miles from Lake Delton but will have Thursday and Friday off this week. I don't know if the Lake Delton Village Hall will be open on Friday to be able to tell me where Sanford and Harry Alford are buried for sure. My next break won't be until Christmas vacation.

John 7 Jennie Shesler @ Lake Delton Cem
Hi, After the Packer game today I went to the Lake Delton Cem., within 2 miles of where I live. The smaller stones for John & Jennie Shesler need moss removed but it was getting dark. Maybe on Friday I will go back to clean the stones and retake photos. I will include photos of the smaller stones then, also, so that you can see that her name is Jennie on the stone.

RE: Rowena Kuhl
I asked my contact--(niece) in MR if she knew of a photo, she said there was a photo in the origional Obit but the photo goes away after 30 days. I am sure Rowena was aquainted with my grandparents and my Uncle as they homesteaded there in 1908--my aunt is still alive at 93.You can view my Beard relatives in my memorials. Most of my memorials are family, maternal and paternal.

Rowena Kuhl
Cemetery in Milk River is presently covered with 1 ft of snow. I will furnish a photo at a later date. No marker on grave as of this date. If you go to the Lethbridge Herald, Sat, Oct 27th, 2012 you will find her Obituary---you can do a short Bio from this. Thank you.
