RE: John Salmon grave
No problem...glad you enjoyed it. The Livingston County Historical Society and SAR put that stone there and had a dedication for him and a few others a few years back. This cemetery is closest to the western most battle site of the American Revolution.

RE: Joseph Bailey
Betsy, I've been doing some more research and I think Joseph and Sally might have been married in CT and may have even had some of their children there and also in Chatham, Columbia Co, NY as they migrated to the Niles, MI area. After the holiday's, I'm going to check over my side again and see if there is anything else that comes close to the information you told me. Maybe there is a connection. Thanks for sharing with me. RE: Joseph Bailey
Betsy, I doubt that there is any connection, but I am a little unclear how you think there could be one. To my knowledge Joseph Bailey, Jr on our side is from Massachusetts according to death records for some of his children. Sally Bailey was a Waldo before she married Joseph. Byron is the youngest son and he had four brothers and three sisters who lived to be adults. There were also 5 of Joseph and Sally's children that died as infants. My records do not go back any farther than Joseph, so I do not have a birth record to check his parents names, nor am I aware of any brothers or sisters that he had, although I imagine he had some. Perhaps if you shared some of your history going forward I might see if we have anything that connects. Let me know if you want to share some information. Ginger
