Hi Kristina,
Unfortunatley I don't have much information on the Strong family. Fountain Strong is my husband's GG Grandfather. His daughter, Arminta Strong married into the family. Much of what I've found was on census records. They indicated Fountain's parents came to TN from Ireland . . . then ended up in MO. We don't live in MO and have not visited the Thomas Cemetery. Would love to though. I have Fountain with 7 children: Arminta [the oldest]; Mary Elizabeth; John; Josiah; Sarah; Amanda; and Laura. Hope this helps with your search. | | | Sandy Vincent Wood

The survey is just some copied papers. I am currently re-surveying the whole cemetery and plan to publish the database and pics of ALL the graves. I have taken over 2000. You can order a copy of the survey from the Haskell County Historical Society. I paid $8 including postage.

Hi Kristin,
There was a survey done in 1980 and 1988 and the marker was listed as "sm. Brass marker lying under juniper tree" and lists the row and space. Most of the debris around the tree is pine needles, leaves, dirt... I plan to go back with a shovel and a metal detector. This grave is driving me crazy! I will find it!
