Brenda, I sent you a lengthy edit regarding memorial # 73912758.
Please check your edits.
Thank you for all the wonderful memorials you've created.
|Barbara L. Kirkland||Shuman/Shumans Family|
Brenda....I have sent you a number of edit requests for this family. It appears that some of this family spell their name Shumans (the father and mother's tombstone has Shumans) while some of the children spell theirs Shuman.
I think it is best to have the name as it appears on a tombstone.
|Barbara L. Kirkland||Bertie Taylor|
Brenda....every time I try to send an edit on this woman I get a notice that says I already have a pending edit yet I cannot find one. Nevertheless, she was the daughter of #53337768 and #53336781 -- her maiden name was Herrington. Her first husband was Joseph Alexander Rentz #74014674 and second husband Council Taylor (please note his birth year is way off) #74610924.
Thanks for making these changes.
|Barbara L. Kirkland||Satilla Cemetery|
Brenda....I will do that but I didn't know if you were active or not. Be aware, though, that there will be lots of edits, links, etc. coming!
Thanks for your help in getting this cemetery as complete as we possibly can.
|Barbara L. Kirkland||Satilla Cemetery|
Brenda....a couple of friends and I have recently completely surveyed Satilla Freewill Cemetery in Jeff Davis Co. You have entered a lot of memorials there. I have tons of information that I can add to memorials and links that can be made. Would you possibly consider allowing me to log in as you and make those links, edits, etc. or do you want me to send all the information on to you to correct?
I appreciate your consideration as we would like to see this cemetery done as completely as possible.
|p ||Lydia Harden|
We searched off and on for Lydia Harden's relatives for years. No luck until now. We found Lydia's photo on find a grave. My father, Lydia's son, George told me about his mother, Lydia and his sisters, Mable and Wealthy. The Washington Library located her obituary showing husband Joseph Ameson and 3 children Wealthy, George and Mable. This matches info at Hart's Mortuary, Macon, Ga. George was adopted by Phillips family and Mable was adopted by someone in Fort Valley however she ranaway. George had also ran away from several previous families. When she married Joseph Ameson they tried to get George and Mable back but they had been adopted. When she became ill, George was located and was able to visit her. She gave him sisters names Whealthy and Mable along with father, Strong Harden and mother, Elizabeth Simmons. Mable stayed with George for short time. He thought she went to Fla. My DNA test is on Ancestry.com. We are looking for relatives. We are unable to locate his birth cert and his father's information.. Any all information in appreciated. Addie Joyce

|Joy Steele||Sarah Doyle Walker|
While researching my husband's Walker relatives in south Georgia, we visited Upper Mill Cemetery in Darien. I took photos of the Doyles and of Thomas Walker which seem to be replacement markers since they are fairly new. I believe that Thomas may be the husband of Sarah Doyle Walker whose marker is not in the cemetery. The other marker photo of Sarah Carroll Doyle with dates 1803, born Ireland, and death date about 1885, reflects perhaps the mother and maybe father or brother Matthew for Sarah Doyle Walker. Matthew is on the same marker as Sarah Carroll Doyle but with no separate dates for him.
I will send the marker photo if you want to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org so you can see.
|Lamar Chapman||Jones Creek Cemetery Buriel|
I can find no record of Estelle Ellen Chapman being buried in Jones Creek. There is a roster of all burials on the fence of the cemetery. The Jones Creek. She is listed in the membership and changing her membership to Blackshear. She has an infant son buried in JC. She was married to George Taylor.
Could you please clear this up?
|selena may||Hance McLeod /Lydia Cravey McLeod|
You have a child linked to Hance and Lydia named James Otha McLeod.. Hance and Lydia were my gg grandparents and I have extensive research on this family and fron what I have this James Otha McLeod is not their child..
|dcd||Edward H. Walker|
This child was a relative of my husband's. Where did you get the information on his death? Thanks
